Trouble requesting to join games.

Hi All
Today i tried joining two 5e games (from notiufications) but am not having any luck?
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

It may be that the games you're getting new game alerts for are closed (people created them for a pre-set group and aren't taking outside applicants). I've had this happen a few times.

I believe Dramasailor is correct here. I was emailed three new games in the past couple of days. All three have been closed.

Not to mention that 5e games fill FAST! Be persistent and you shouldn't have trouble finding one rather quickly.

I would say keep an eye on the tavern too. I know as a gm, I don’t watch the game page for new incoming requests so unless I ask for new people to join in the tavern, I’m not looking for new players at that time (even though there may be free slots.)

Every time I got a request for some of my games, the person started by approaching me either in the original thread where I announced the game or via PM. If requests are not working, you can always try those alternatives...
