Continuing from the gameplay thread.

We did, in fact, imply multiple times that we were going to sit down in the tavern and do some in-character planning before we took further action.

Going back over the posts, I think we both misread things. I believe you misinterpreted my description of the NPC patrons leaving the tavern as stating that the PCs were leaving. I then misread your OOC post as signaling an intent to leave. I suggest that perhaps the PCs can find a quiet place to talk and plan after finishing with the tailor.

Yes, I believe you're right. It does sound a lot like the PCs are leaving the tavern instead of the patrons. All is forgiven.

If it helps, I assumed we were leaving but mostly because I didn't see the point in staying after things went down like that.

I'm confused. Petrev's former love is a half orc? Her sister is married to Olthorion?

I read it as his lost love is Orthorion's wife and her sister is just there.

So looking at it again, I think he's saying that he mistook the first person as Othorion's wife (lost love's sister), but then his lost love came down the stairs after that. So we don't actually know which is the wife, but his lost love is definitely mostly orc based on his second post.

Sorry i didnt get these notifications???? I was trying to add some unexpected humour.
In short years have fuddled my memory of my long lost love. My youthfull love was more based on drunken teenage lust than love. Drunkenly sleeping with the now much uglier and more obvious half orc sister, (and misunderstanding her getting into the wagon.) Who i am now hiding from at the party.
If it suits people i can edit it into a more traditional/expected path? Where Buttercup is the pretty bride to be.

I like it, we're just having a bit of trouble following what exactly went on. My reading is that Margery (attractive sister) is engaged to Othorion, and Petrev's lost love is Buttercup, the half-orc sister. Is that right?

Yes Buttercup is the half orc half sister. Petrev got drunk (and concussed) and was seduced by Buttercup for his first time and lust blinded him to Buttercups not fully developed Orcish nature. Late, hungover and misinterpreting Buttercup getting into O's carriage Petrev flees his home town with a broken heart.
Sorry, it just got outof hand while i was writing it and may not have come across as well in writing as it would have told as RP.
