Sticky Post on XP

Just so everyone is playing with the same rules:

You can spend 4 xp to:
- gain 4 points to add to your pools
- add 1 to might edge, speed edge, or intellect edge
- increase Effort by 1
- become Trained in a new skill, or become Specialized in a skill you are Trained in
- Other: reduce cost for wearing armor; or add 2 to recovery rolls; or learn a new Move/Twist/Revision

You can only advance one of the five options above once per Tier. Once you have advanced four of the options above (selecting from 'Other' can replace one of the first four), you progress to Tier 2.
I forgot to mention, but completing the Ruk mission gets you 4 XP.

That'll put me to five so moving towards perfection and spending 54 on Edge (Int). This isn't Savage Worlds You only need 4xp to make an advancement... nothing to see here move along.

Everyone gets the 4 Xp for the mission. My Edge is my own there are many like it but this one is mine. *dibs*

I'll be increasing my Speed Edge for those 4xp. Now Edge of 2 on Earth and 3 on Ruk. I like it.

I completely missed this comment. But no, you can't train in Might attacks. You could train in a move/revision/twist which might be an attack, but not generic attacks.

For learning about the starfall: Duke +1
For learning about the sirrush: +1 each
For IDing a Cypher for the first time: Micah +1, Vinny +1 (as mentioned in game)

Excellent! I'll spend 4 for for Moving Toward Perfection to increase my Speed Edge. Then, I'll spend another 4 to increase my Trained in Persuading to Specialized. That leaves me with 2 XP left over and I've done enough advancements to jump to Tier 2.

As an advancement (Spent 4 xp on this specifically) or due to your tier? When we're Tier 3 it'll be 1d6+3.

Spending 4xp to take the +2 to recovery rolls option. I assume it makes it permanent but not sure.

Yep it'd be in addition to your tier bonus so it'd be 1d6(+2x(however many time you take this versus an ability or skill)+Tier#
