LFG New to Site

So as I said in a introductory post, I made this account a while back but never used it. So I'm somewhat (vaguely) familiar with the site, though I've never played a game before. I am however familiar with RP and D&D 5e, the game I'm looking for.

So last time I was on here I saw a game where DM advertised that they had a discord, and kept in touch outside of just RP. I thought this was such a nice idea, as D&D is supposed to be a social game. I was wondering if anyone is running a game where people keep in touch outside of RP, preferably outside the forums, via a chat like discord. It would be nice to get my RP fix and make some new friends :3
