I figured out the reason for a frequent problem. Every time you go to edit a game description, any value in 'characters per player' gets deleted!
Game editing deletes a value

Yah, at first I thought this was just a person or two missing something, but after a few reports, I realize its an issue. Hopefully a fix this weekend.
