Mon Calamari Engineer

Hi... I'm... Tendaar Bel, Mon Cala Slicer and Engineer... with a bit of skill, if I do say so. Did some work before with the A-Wing project, fixing some silly issues with the Targeting Computer and whatnot. That was a bit too... structured. Now I'm with Special Ops and ready to do some damage to some Imperial shinies! Those prim and proper gentlemen won't know what hit them when their own droids attack! But I'm getting ahead of myself. This Moff is sitting on a beautiful listening post and using it to spy on another Imperial! What a bunch of clowns. We're going to put that to better use than them!

Background: Served in the Duros Planetary Defense Force for almost 6 years. During a visit by Imperial Senators, stormtroopers openfired on some protestors. The violence didn't end there, they continued their attacks on innocent civilians. It was at that time, I decided what I must do and searched out the Rebellion and joind up.

Found half dead in the scuttled remains of an imperial transport.
Family of salvagers nursed him back to health.
His oldest memories are of laser fire, screaming green crystals, explosions and then a sad family in a void.
Family comes upon an Imperial blockade on their way to sell their salvage.
Inspection of goods, results in arrests, which result in aggression and killing.
Black was the only survivor but his actions opened the blockade for a Rebel Alliance ship to get through.
They followed him down and he’s been working with them ever since.

Title/Rank: Pilot for Special Ops.
Background: Growing up on Chandrilan surrounded by nature I was consistently board. However, I did not let myself stay board. I found a few others like myself who had discovered a way to break the boredom, speeders. I spent all my free time at the crystal canyons racing speeders and I loved it. As soon as I could I left home amd joined the Imperial Naval Academy.

I did well, completing all tasks and tests but my time there was not always easy. I got harassed and discriminated at every turn by instructors and students alike. I took all the BS jobs given to me distinguishing myself on each. I never complained but ut was getting frustrating to never be given a more important assignment. I finally learned why thay was when I was transporting a friendly Senator. He said that I was not given more essential assignments because Imperial Naval Command suspected me of Rebel sympathies due to me growing up on Chandrilan.

Frustrated with tjat knowledge I thought I'd prove command right. So I defected and sought out the Rebel Alliance. I could not be happier with my decision. I was placed in Squardon Dactillions where I went on many missions with them. We were even test pilots for the new A-wing on Cardooine.

We only got a week with then before we were set upon by an Imperial raid in Cardooine. We pushed them back, proving tye A-wing works but we lost the rest of the squad. Only myself and one other made it out alive. After thay I requested a transfer ti Special Ops and am loving it.
