Email Notification Oddities

Not sure if this is related to the site performance issues you're already grappling, but I've noticed some irregularities with regard to when email notifications get sent.

It used to be nigh instantaneous, now I've had delays of up to a few hours and it's different for different users. So sometimes I'll get notifications out of order.

It doesn't really affect my games it's just off and thought you'd want to know now about it.

Thanks for letting me know. This has come up in the past, and I don't think it's related to the performance issues, but unfortunately, I know next to nothing about running email servers :/ It's something I hope to be able to learn eventually (unless a GP member who's good with servers/emails can help me out before that!).

Definitely not mission critical. Like I said just wanted you to be aware and it seems like it got worse in the last like month or maybe that's when I started noticing.

Same here and I know a couple others who have made comment. Not the end of the world but its definitely been popping up over the last month or so.

I'm reasonably certain this is linked to the email server I use, though I'm not positive. I've been looking at email services, which would be more reliable, but a lot more expensive (ranging from $20 per month and up).
