Hey there, my character should be ready within hours. Should I post an introduction or will we wait for that to happen in-game?

Rolls

Rolling for gold (x30) - (4d4)

(2413) = 10

Do we roll or take avg Hit points for level up?

So I also just realized I never selected a ranger archetype.

Do you have an issue with me selecting Horizon Walker from XGtE?

I also have a question, are we using feats or just the stat upgrades?
Jul 31, 2018 1:40 am
I guess that’s a good question because I was planning on taking Crossbow expert.

For hit points, the game description states that we use average rounded up (with a reference table).

wow, this is what I get when I don't sub to a forum. Yes Sclasclemski XGtE is ok. Also feats are ok.

Hi! What drew me to this game was the prospect of playing a gnome tinker of some sort. Azezel has this cool idea of reflavoring spells as crafting. So right now I'm considering a wizard. Not yet sure what school of magic. Is UA allowed? Have not read it, but School of Invention seems thematically appropriate.

Well given that I'm remaking this Artificer any input would be welcomed.

So far, I have been thinking that I want to do the "spell" system closer to how sorcerer works. Instead of having "learned spells" you will have Tinkering/crafting slots, I feel this represents a tinkerers ability. Though Int will be the prime stat for the build. In addition to that I was also thinking of copying the sorcery points into Tinkering points, but essentially making them the same thing. In the end I feel like it will be a hybrid of Sorcerer and Wizard with several changes to spells. Also the Artificer would be able to wear limited armor (ex. heavy armor would hamper his ability to craft quickly and could cause him to fail, but medium and light armor wouldn't. I was also thinking any armor without the Disadvantage stat as this is a penalty to dex(stealth) it would make sense to crafting.)

Feel free to chime in anyone, I'd like to hear thoughts on this.

The School of Invention Wizard has a feature called Arcanomechanical Armor that is basically Mage Armor -1
