While I've played RPGs for the last 35 years, I'm a bit rusty at PbP games. The last time I tried PbP, it was a D&D3 game back in 2000. I've managed a few tabletop sessions in the intervening years, but with kids and work schedules, it's been difficult to do more than one-shots. The last campaign I played in was actually a game I ran: Call of Cthulhu set in 1880s Chicago, and we only managed five sessions of that before schedules prevented more. I do a lot of dramatic, heroic storytelling games using diceless systems, such as Space Seekers (hence my username). I'm looking forward to playing in a game or games, with the idea of working up to running at least one.

Welcome! I'm really happy and continually surprised at the level of activity we have here at GP, and I'll obviously keep working ot keep it growing. I'm really glad you could join us, and look forward to seeing what you do!

Welcome! I am new myself and feel the same. People led me to believe PBPs were a sedate affair but so far this community seems very active.

Welcome, spaceseeker19! Yes, this is a pretty active place, though I've found it a good idea to slightly oversubscribe to games as some games end up being more active than others. I've never played a diceless game, but I'm interested in trying, and I've found GamersPlane a good place to try new games. I Googled Space Seekers and found this: http://www.angelfire.com/hi/SpaceSeekers/ which seems to fit the bill. Is there anything more recent about the game? The site is from 1999...
