I have used the screenshot to imgur method and did so for a few months and now I use google sheets...I like it because using the Puffin app I can edit the images from my phone to give me good flexibility of when I can respond during combat...I prefer to edit from a computer but it is not a big deal from your phone.
For iniative I also roll all iniative but I break it up a little bit more than Aaron does. Creatures of different types get there own iniative rolls but they only get one. I have 20 orcs in one combat and they all move together on the same iniative but the ORc war chief moves on his own iniaitive. Players can post in any order in between the Monsters/NPC placements.
