As a brave new Initiate of the Blood Knights, paladins wielding the Light through a captured Naaru, you are tasked with cleansing the undead menace that has ravaged your homeland.
When you arrive in the training area, you just passed by the Farstriders proudly displaying their expertise with bow and arrow. A couple of them dart their eye to you, stand taller and somehow even more proud as they take their next shot. Next passing by fellow Blood Knights in combat training outside, you enter into the enclave of your order, the Hall of Blood. Decorated in a darker than usual scheme for blood elves, the violet and crimson banners and gold statuary lead you on your search for your superior, Lady Liadrin You soon find her in the lower level in a large room. Encircled and ensnared by Magisters, a naaru - the source of your holy powers - a large creature of physical shards of light floats before you. Lady Liadrin stands off to the side, fierce determination on her face - as is usual. Once a high priestess of the Light, she now commands the Light's powers. Noticing your arrival, she marches up to you, anger bubbling up in her voice but never yelling, "Well met. Your initiation training is nearly complete. Go to the Dead Scar west of the Shepard's Gate. A squad of Farstriders will be waiting. Show them the power of the Light when it is commanded instead of served. Cleanse the filth that lingers there." You know she is not angry at you but instead somehow at the bound creature or at least connected to it. She salutes you and returns to her study of the naaru.
Athaniar bowed before he spun on his heels and headed to where he was supposed to go. Before long, he reached and walked over.
I am Athaniar Dawnblade. Are you the Farstriders I am meant to lead? he asked as he smiled at his kin.
"Jaela!" one of her subordinates calls.
"Attack! Don't let them reach the gates!"
The rangers let loose a cloud of arrows into the approaching undead.
Combat has begun. What do you do?
Athaniar said before he roared a battle cry, charging into the Scourge.

I've included the rolls as normal here, but that's not usually my way. I have hidden rolls in the past and use them as guidelines for what actually happens. Would you prefer we use the rolls as below or for me to narrate rolls as I see fit?

"Hail, warrior!" you hear from behind you. It's the leader of the rangers. "Should ever you find yourself nearby again, I , Jaela, would welcome the added strength." Though she speaks curtly, you sense this is sincere thanks from one such as her.
The pleasure will be mine.
He said, gently taking Jaela's hand and kissing the back of it before standing up.

Do you return to Lady Liadrin or...?
My apologies, I did not mean to insult you.
He said seriously.
All I wanted to do was thank you for yours and your ranger's help.
As you wish
He smiled.
And I agree. The rivalry between our factions is useless. Maybe we should start working together more often and show our leaders that together, we are stronger than we are apart.
XD
Understood. I shall head there at once.
He smiled as he bowed before turning swiftly and walking away.
Althaniar bows as he smiles.
Is there anything you need from me before I head off?
He asked.
You leave and make your way to the inn. Recognizing you, the innkeeper directs you to a room in the upper floor. Inside, you find no bed, but instead some cushions arranged in a semicircle around an altar of candles and a phoenix, the symbol of your people.
I'm really sorry... i don't have kuch time nowadays.
If it's a manuever, I'll add another post with the attack. Using athletics for the check.

Are you alright...?
Thank you... for helping us.
He said softly before he begun to pray.
You begin to pray in what sounds like a passive tone, requesting and seeking assistance from the Light. Lady Liadrin cuts you off tersely. "Do not ask. Command! That creature embodies the very powers that abandoned us in our hour of need against the Scourge." Rage and pain mix in her eyes as she turns to fully face the naaru, arm outstretched, palm facing the creature, and her fingers like claws. Both her hand and the naaru begin to glow with a soft aura of gold flecked with crimson. The soft music that you have heard in this building which you had previously thought to be an enchantment changes suddenly. It becomes a discordant, pained cry. It comes from the naaru. It lasts but a moment and all goes quiet as the Blood Knight matriarch stops. "As sin'dorei, it is our birthright to command power. Do not forget."
I understand. he said before he raised his hands and did what Liadrin did, muttering a barely perceptible sorry under his breath.
*~{Level up}~*
The Blood Knight matriarch instructs you, "This phial is for you to study. Intimately familiarize yourself with this power. Draw upon it while out defending our land and people." She turns toward your bound foe. "Now, use your new found power to restore vitality to your opponent."

"You have done well. Go now, and return to me tomorrow." The warrior leaves, ignoring you.
Athaniar then asked as he looked at Liadrin.
Athaniar then declared as he knelt.
What does my lady wish to be my task?
I shall head there now. he declared before standing and turning to walk out, heading for the stables where he could get a horse.
I wish to see the highest ranking person here. May I know where he or she is?
He then asked the elf who worked at the griffin stables.
"The highest ranking person" as it would appear, seems to be a Blood Elf, red haired and wearing robes of varying shades of black, grey, and white on top and a red shawl around his neck to match the bottom half of his robes. He stops a few feet away from you, looking you over before speaking. "Greetings, Blood Knight. To what do we owe this honor?"
I shall see it done.
He bowed.
Might I ask if you have any land transport I can use to get there? Or is it close enough to walk?
He leads you to a stable beside the ruined inn. It's been built recently guessing by the condition. He stops in front of a grey hawkstrider with flecks of orange randomly across its body. "Cinder will serve you nicely. I look forward to your return." He bows and returns to his business.
You’re a nice one...
He murmured.
Stay here. Call for me if you are in danger.
He said as he walked off towards the sanctum, holding his weapon at the ready as he prepared to attack.
May the Light guide me. he prayed before he hefted his shield to be ready.
So for you that's Charisma (16) + Proficiency bonus (2) + level 1 is the highest spell level you can cast, making your mana pool 19 (16+2+1). And right now level 1 spells cost you 5 mana to cast. Did that help?

Athaniar prays before he then strides towards the building, on guard for any more attacks.
Reaching the building, he then looks around, sighing at the destruction and defilement of the place.
What a shame...
Minor Spells are spells whose level is at least 3 less than the highest level they can cast. Since a level 13 mage can cast 7th level spells, level 4 and lower spells are Minor Spells. Their mana cost is 1 lower than normal. Level 4 spells cost 5 (6-5+4) but it's 4 for the level 13 mage because it's a Minor Spell for them. Thankfully, all that math is done for us in the mana table on page 169.
Cantrips cost half what a 1st level spell would, minus 1, then round down. So 6-5+1=2. 2÷2=1. 1-1=0
Release it! he commanded as he stepped forward, swinging his hammer to make his precense known.

That’s it... I won’t hurt you... he said, gently reaching out with his hand.
How are you...?
Thank you... he said.
Thank you... he said as he bowed to the creature.
I hope you will do well from now. If you need my help, feel free to ask.
The Scourge really did a number on this place...
Ge murmured to himself as he continued to walk, touching the walls gently.
Athaniar said before he turned, heading back to his griffin to fly back to the Magister.
Here. he then offered it to the Magistrate.
As you wish Magister.
He said as he stood up.
The male then makes his way back to his mount, getting on and riding off quickly.
Greetings. I am Athaniar Dawnblade, and I have been sent here on a mission by Magister Darenis.May I know who you three are?
"Since you are sent by Magister Darenis, it would seem he has made some progress. It would appear the time to move forward is now." Kaendris returns to his initial position, and Magister Idonis steps forward. "I will get right to the point. You are here to help rid this land of the Scourge and the taint of the Dead Scar, and restore this forest to the glory befitting Quel'thalas. Why else would you be sent to us. In the years that we Blood Elves retook and mostly rebuilt Silvermoon City, the Scourge were busy entrenching themselves here. They built a fortress, Deatholme. That is our final target, but to reach it we must destroy 2 other targets: the ziggurats. They are powered by a pair of ancient elven artifacts. Return them to us so that we may restore them from their twisted state."
I understand. Where might these artifacts be found?
He then inquired as he looked at the elves before him.
Are they in scourge territory...?
I understand. I shall be on my way then.
The male bowed once again before he turned to head back to his mount, eager to fly off again and finish his duty quickly.
Immediately you see a trio of skeletons marching their way through the Dead Scar, a patrol they will act out for eternity should no one stop them.
Better to sneak past so I won’t raise an alarm... He thinks to himself as he scurries for a hiding place, diving behind a nearby rock.
I am. Are you? he asked, looking the male up and down.
Who are you and who do you report to? he asked.
