Sinister forces, long thought destroyed, stirs from the darkness that spawned it. Like black foreboding darkness, they now prowl the land and safety is a mere illusion and fear fans its dark flame. They watch carefully, fully alert from every shadow seeking opportunities and new possibilities.
What began years ago is manifesting once more but stronger and alluringly deceitful. The evil is brooding and growing beneath the blasted stones. This is your chance to drive them back and scatter their forces again to the four winds.
The tainted village of Hommlet, the filthy shire of Nulb, the pilfering of Low Road, the now used Unused Trace Road, the hazy protecting occupation of Gnarley Forest, the ill-gotten Kron Hills and the pre-occupation with High Road all seem to point to a Temple of great evil that harnesses the darkness, fog-like in its spread.
Questions are forming on the lips of everyday people and are formed by the wagging tongues. Surely idle gossip ... or is it?
Are they all connected? Is it good enough to just cut off the head of the snake or instead to lance all the boils before the exorcism of its evil gains yet another foothold in the hearts and minds of the people? Why are so many turned to the glitter and promise of gold? What else will be revealed into the light of day and what else will be drawn from the cold into the warmth?

This is a campaign for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons for 1st level characters, beginning their journeys as adventurers.
When rolling abilities, please roll 4D6 for each ability in Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution and Charisma. Discard the lowest of the die for each roll and the total is your ability in that area. Character Sheets may simply be sent to me via Private Message.
All races and classes are open in the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Players Handbook. Let me know your class and I will help you to create your character if you need it.
