You are a member of the Adeptus Astartes, a Space Marine. More than a man, you are one of the Imperium's supreme warrior. The first and last line of defense against the forces of Chaos and Xenos that seek to extinguish the shining light of the Emperor in the galaxy.
You have serve your Chapter for decade and are a veteran of many campaigns. For honor, duty or punishment, you have been chosen to serve the mysterious Deathwatch chapter.
You will find yourself fighting with new brothers against some of the galaxy's deadliest foes in the Jericho Reach sector in the shadow of the struggling Achilus Crusade.

Every chapter may join the Deathwatch.
Upon joining you will choose a specialty :
Deathwatch Apothecary Mighty and selfless, you are charged with the sacred responsability of maintaining the health of your Battle-Brother and, should they fall in battle, to retreive their gene-seed so their memories can be returned to their chapter.
Deathwatch Assault Marine - Specialist in the brutal art of close quarter combat, the assault specialist use a powerful jump pack to bring the fight to their enemies.
Deathwatch Devastator Marine - Tasked with carrying the very heaviest and powerful of portable weapons, the Devastator marine excel at the application of overwhelming firepower.
Deathwatch Tactical Marine - The most numerous of the Space Marine warriors, they are equipped and trained to fulfil the widest range of battlefield role. They excel at making any team into a deadly instrument of death.
Deathwatch Librarian - Born both a Space Marine and a psyker, the Librarian are trained to wield weapons as well as the powers of the mind against the foes of Mankind.
Deathwatch Techmarine - Schooled in the forbidden knowledge of the Omnissiah- the Machine God, the Techmarine are powerful warrior charged with maintaining the holy relics that every Space Marine employ.
Some Brother's path are more unique as the Emperor'will can be mysterious. They may have quit for unknown reason their chapter and joined permanently the Deathwatch as a Blackshield. Or they have a specialty unique unique to their Chapter like the Sanginary Priest of the Blood Angels, the Ravenwing Veteran from the Dark Angels or the Wolf Scouts of the Space Wolves.
As your glory grows, your fate may eventually bring you to the sacred roles of Chaplain, Champions, Dreadnough or Watch Captains.
