Death of the Old World [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
For millenia, this world has belonged to all races - elves, dwarves, halflings, orcs, even the gnoll and all the other peoples. Despite the ice cold weather, the deadly beasts roaming the forests, tundras, mountain ranges and swamps, the native races have always managed to survive somehow. It was no easy life but it was a life
But just a few years, a generation ago, the humans arrived. Tall, strong, armed with knowledge of technology and magic that the native races couldn't have dreamed of, they intruded in these ancient lands and waged a short but brutal war against the dwarves, driving them back into the mountains and stealing the land from them.
Since then, the tales of human brutality have not stopped. They conquered the halfling lands, they murdered whole tribes of orcs, they cut down a pixie home tree...
Deciding that something needs to be done about these violent and dangerous intruders that are threatening the balance of the homelands, a council of all major native races has been convened. At this council, a group of brave heroes is chosen to serve as envoys, to learn more about the humans and to find out how to push back their invasion and save the homelands.
