Kicsi kicks the Doppelganger in the midsection doubling it over. She spins around and connects Kard with the things neck severing it's head. The stump sprays her with blood and still kneels motionless for an instant and the falls towards her, covering her in it's life blood.
Tethys bites the corpse and claws it, just to make sure the monstrosity is truly dead.
OOC:
I have added an experience counter to the notes section on your character sheets. You each get 350 xp for this encounter.

"Ughhh! I guess we need to row ourse---- wait, can bears row?" Vikent says, sheathing his short swords. He stares at the boat and then begins rifling through the imposters clothing.
Mar 10, 2016 2:36 am
They were both wearing ragged clothes and had nothing but clubs on them.
Mar 10, 2016 2:40 am
Bathed in blood Kisci drops her arms by her side and lets out a sigh. "Well, this has been about the grossest experience I've ever had." She slowly walks over to the water and does the best she can to clean herself off.

"Someone wanna take a look at the corpses while I'm cleaning up. Maybe there's something useful on those things."

After the battle, Tethys remains his bear form and keeps watch to make sure no other danger approaches.
Mar 10, 2016 11:27 pm
The beach is quiet and the only sound is the waves lapping, and Kicsi washing off. Sea birds are flying over head and calling out to each other. A small crab walks up to one of the corpses and starts pinching it's flesh. The boat is still moored and secure.
Mar 11, 2016 12:34 am
After cleaning up a bit Kicsi will take a peek around the corpses, just to see if there is anything of any use on them.
OOC:
I take it our characters would know that the creatures were doppelgangers?

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+2)

(14) + 2 = 16

Mar 11, 2016 12:52 am
OOC:
Yes they would now
The doppelgängers stomachs seem full.
Mar 11, 2016 1:18 am
"Let's roll, er, row!" Vikent jumps into the boat then wearily eyes the bear. He flexes his muscles and grabs the oars. "Ugghh, not really halfling sized, but maybe if I stand."
Mar 11, 2016 5:20 pm
Not finding anything of interest among the corpses, Kicsi will join Vikent in the boat. "Not really a job for us halflings!" she says with a laugh in her native tongue as she offers Vikent a hand.
Mar 11, 2016 10:39 pm
Standing up on the benches, the halflings can row just fine. It would be easier with more hands though.
Mar 11, 2016 10:40 pm
Seeing no further danger, Tethys will transform back into his elven form and get in the boat to help the halflings row.
Mar 12, 2016 6:55 pm
Cuon will help row as well, "Do you suppose the crew are all gone -- and eaten?"
Mar 12, 2016 6:57 pm
The group rows slowly and takes about three times as long to row back, but are greeted by the captain and crew. They toss you a line and rope ladder.
Mar 12, 2016 7:06 pm
As Tethys reaches the top of the ladder he turns to the captain, "The crewmen sent to retrieve us seemed to have some identity issues. They were doppelgangers and had to be killed. I don't suppose you know anything about that?"

"Those were the same crewmen that rode in with you. They waited there for you. We have sailed for years together." She replies.
