"An igloo, I believe it's called. Shouldn't be too hard to fashion on out here," he says as he gets to work.

"A place to rest sounds good!" Kicsi says as she sits up in the snow. "What do we need to do to get one of this eegloos built?"

It dawns on Kicsi that it's just like the mud huts she built as a kid, but only made with ice. Tethys knows how to cut the blocks.

Uninjured, Cuon keeps watch -- looking consistently and carefully over the frozen landscape. He occasionally flits his eyes to the foreground to watch his colleagues in order to ensure his eyes don't become used to the unending white. His bow is out, but not drawn as he keeps a constant vigilance as the eeglu gets built.

Tosher does what he can to help construction of this igloo. He has heard tape of these before but never seen one constructed. He offers to stomp down snow, carry blocks, and whatever else he can do to help.

Starting to stiffen from her wounds Kicsi pushes on. Stacking the blocks reminds her of the mud huts she would build with her siblings when they were all young. The memories bring a smile to her chilled face.

"Didn't use to make these for anyone much larger than myself, Tosh. We're going to have to dig a little more snow out of this thing to get you in there!"

Houses made of snow? Haha, that's fantastic. Vikent laughs with great mirth at his friend's wit. Eeee, that was good. Maybe we just have to keep going then. He watches the others start to pile snow blocks. What the donkey? You know he was joking right?

The construction of the igloo shelter goes well and you succeed in making it large enough where everyone can get inside, but iut is almost elbow to elbow with Tosher inside.

"Should we have some form of watch? Or assume we can defend from within?"
Apr 29, 2016 10:43 am
A watch would be wise. Who knows if there is more to that pack, or if the battle brought attention to our position. If you don't mind me asking, where is it we are headed? The captain had only told me I would be working to escort and protect the group.

"Defend within!? We can barely move in here as it is" Kicsi chuckles as she settles down. "I'm going to rest for a bit, but don't let me miss my turn on watch!"
OOC:
Kicsi is at 5/18 HP and 0/3 Ki, so a long rest would do her some good.

"Just in case," Tethys says as he casts a spell of healing over Kicsi.

As the healing warmth envelopes her the halfling sits and checks her wounds. "Excellent!! she yells as the wounds transform into mere scratches. "Thanks, Tethys! Just for that I'll take your watch shift" Kicsi offers stretching her arms high above her head in order to test her wounds. "All better!"

Vikent finds a place to curl up. He smiles at Kicsi's enthusiasm, but blood loss and trauma soon take over and he slips into unconsciousness.
OOC:
Vikent is at 8/31

You marked down the 5 that I healed you for, right?

Cuon will take first shift and keep a careful watch.

Tethys volunteers to take Vikent's watch so he can rest.

The night goes by uneventful. Everyone that rests wakes up with full hp and all spells and feats back.
OOC:
I still like the full restore after a nights sleep that I played in 2nd edition

Cuon is as rested as he can be, having taken a watch and tried hard to look after his colleagues who had a rougher time of the wolves than head did. Still, his eyes are a little droopy and he's a little colder than he'd prefer to be. As the group stirs, he makes his way out to scan the area for trouble.

The landscape still looks barren, and the bodies of the wolves are gone.
