Tosher charges and catches the creature off guard and hits it full on, pinning it to the wall with his horns. The horns pierce it's stomach and blood drips down onto Tosher's head.

You see no apparent danger other than the impaled frost midget.

Everyone else make a surprise round attack.

Slimp has taken 31 Damage so far, is Tethys or Cuon going to attack?
Jun 11, 2016 2:04 am
Tethys continues watching for other threats but does not engage in killing Slimp.
Jun 11, 2016 12:51 pm
Either way, suprise or regular, it's Cuon's turn

Initiative:
Cuon -- 21
Vikent -- 19
Tosher -- 16
Tethys -- 10
Creature -- 8
Kicsi -- 6
Jun 11, 2016 2:33 pm
Cuon will wait to act. Should the creature continue to behave in an aggressive manner, he will shoot.
Jun 11, 2016 6:26 pm
On to Vikent then
Jun 11, 2016 9:59 pm
Vikent, trained in gladiatorial pits, needs no other reason to fight than an opponent in front of him. He is used to chains, and long ago closed his mind to the horror of killing people who did not choose to be in front of him. Still, he relishes his freedom, and later may ponder his actions this day.

Vikent presses his attack, side stepping to flank the creature opposite Tosher.

Rolls

Short sword - (1d20+6, 1d6+4)

1d20+6 : (9) + 6 = 15

1d6+4 : (1) + 4 = 5

Bonus action, short sword attack - (1d20+6, 1d6+4)

1d20+6 : (3) + 6 = 9

1d6+4 : (2) + 4 = 6

Jun 12, 2016 4:17 pm
Vikent hits with the first attack, but narrowly miss es with the second attack for a total of 5 damage.

Slimp has a total of 36 damage done to him.

Tosher's turn, slimp is still impaled on your horns.
Jun 13, 2016 4:09 pm
Tosher rips his horn out of the creature, letting it slump to the ground, and then brings his battle axe over his shoulder and brings it down with two hands on the creature.

Rolls

Battle axe - (1d20+6, 1d10+4)

1d20+6 : (12) + 6 = 18

1d10+4 : (9) + 4 = 13

Jun 14, 2016 12:05 am
Tosher's axe cleaves the creature in two ending it's miserable life.
Jun 14, 2016 12:54 am
Vikent wipes his blades clean on the creature and resheathes them with a flourish. He claps Tosher on the leg, and saunters over toward the doorway it was guarding.
Jun 14, 2016 7:54 am
We should be wary of what is inside. Whatever curse this creature was under had taken any semblance of life it once had and removed it. It may be able to try the same thing on us, Tosher says as he puts his battle axe away.
Jun 14, 2016 5:25 pm
Cuon nods. "A shame we couldn't heal it of its affliction and question it."
Jun 14, 2016 5:27 pm
I'll let you question the next one, Tosher says as he snorts laughter. The idea sounds absurd, how would one even go about figuring out how to uncurse a creature?
Jun 14, 2016 5:32 pm
Tethys barely glances at Slimp's mutilated form, "Are we ready to move on now?"
Jun 15, 2016 12:17 am
After passing the doorway, there is a small hallway that opens up into a once grand great room. The ceiling is two to three stories tall and there are delicate tapestries hanging from the rafters. There are great columns running down the sides of the room. each column has a wooden rod coming from it and there are flags attached to each. On the outside of the columns, along the edges of the room are many banquet tables. This place once held life and festivities, but now everything is frozen in place and time. Ice coats every object and leaves the room motionless and dead. Icicles hang from the ceiling and rafters making daggers of blue ice just waiting to fall.

At the front of the room is an immense ice thrown. Its back reaches almost a story itself. Under the ice it has voluptuous padding and the finest silk. There is a smaller chair next to it that sits empty. You see a figure hunched down in the throne. It sits still and looks like it could almost be an ice sculpture.

"Tosher, that guy looks shifty. Charge!"

Vikent padfoots around to the left, looking for exits from the chamber and hidden things.

Rolls

Stealth - (1d20+4)

(19) + 4 = 23

Perception - (1d20)

(15) = 15
