Is there anywhere that Roran can hide or at least be obscured from view, until the first goblin enters view?

Moving to the far end of the bridge (so that anyone that Zsux brings would have to cross to get to him) Gaze lays on the ground and takes one of his arrows and places it between his arm and chest so that it sticks straight up in the air. He'll draw his sword with his other hand and keep the hilt in his open palm.

"I'll let them get close enough to me and you can spring out from underneath and strike. Sound good?"

He walks to the end nearest the entrance and lowers himself off the edge, gripping tightly to one of the beams underneath

I came wait tae see the look on them Goblins faces when I spring up He quietly chuckles to himself

Rylie watches Roran clamber underneath the bridge like a gigantic, hairy spider while Gaze flops onto the bridge and plays dead. She sighs, "Uff, you guys are weird. You make for a nice halfling-sized piece of cover though, Gazey." She walks up to Gaze, takes a knee to hide behind him, nocks an arrow in her shortbow and goads the goblin onward, "This arrow's for you if you try any funny business!"

Gaze gives Rylie a quick wink.

"This plan can't possibly fail" he says before closing his eyes and sticking his tongue out just a bit to the side.

Guttural voices can be heard through the tunnel and two goblins walk out onto the bridge and suddenly stop on seeing the body.

Rylie ducks behind Gaze's "corpse" while readying to take her shot at whichever goblin made the best target.

Zsux just looks confused as he looks around to see where the others could have gone. The other goblin draws his scimitar and advances slowly, peering attentively at the prone form.

Can I now have a Deception check from Gaze and a Strength check from Roran?

The goblin licks his lips and walks right up to the prostrate Gaze. He nudges the body with his toe and then turns back to Zsux,

"Tell the boys to get a fire going, we'll eat well tonight!" he says in goblin.

Without a word, Rylie popped up from behind Gaze's prone form and loosed an arrow at the goblin who'd had the temerity to suggest cooking him. She then sprung over Gaze and gave that same goblin something else to chew on: a halfling boot to the teeth!

OOC:

If I got advantage on both attacks then it's two crits for 11 and 7 damage! I suppose if that first attack kills the hungry goblin then apply the second to the other guy that came with him :D

"Holy..." Gaze exclaims as he watches Rylie unleash halfling hell on the unsuspecting goblin. He quickly reaches for his rapier and jumps to his feet, racing in behind Rylie in case she needs backup.

OOC:

If, by some miracle, that goblin is still alive Gaze will attack with his rapier.

The goblin gurgles and dies, before plummeting off the side of the bridge.

From the tunnel mouth the sound of more goblin voices get closer. Zsux gestures for Gaze and Rylie to get back in position then starts shouting back through the tunnel,

"Come quick! Grug is chasing the last one!"
