Watching the goblin tumble of the edge, a sense of frustration washes over him.
Just a bit longer they'll be here soon....come on, what's taking them so long

Rylie watches the goblin tumble down off the bridge with much satisfaction, and has to suppress a nervous giggle as she scurries back into hiding behind Gaze-the-corpse. While notching another arrow she whispers, "Nevermind what I said before, this plan is brilliant! Wonder how spider-Roran is doing underneath, though...?"

Rolls

Stealth - (1d20+5)

(8) + 5 = 13

Aug 6, 2016 7:23 pm
Suddenly four more goblins charge out of the tunnel with scimitars drawn. The first stops suddenly upon seeing the "body" on the bridge and the others crash into his back, knocking him over. He picks himself up and cuffs the one behind him, who then elbows the one behind him, who looks at the one at the back, the biggest of the four, and just smiles and waves a little.

The leader dusts himself off and moves forward, his entourage close behind,

"Grug? Chase it down the stream! We shoot it from here!" he shouts.

Finally! Now for some fun

Roran attempts to pull himself up over the lip of the bridge
OOC:
Every one of my strength rolls has sucked on this bridge. I hate this stupid bridge

Rolls

Athletics/Stength if needed - (1d20+5)

(4) + 5 = 9

Aug 7, 2016 6:11 am
With a roar Roran swings himself up... but his hand slips and he ends up hanging with his arms clawing for purchase and feet dangling below.

The goblins on the bridge turn back to him,

"Never mind Grug, we've got it!"
OOC:
Edit: Oops, rolled initiative for each individual goblin, forgetting I should treat them as a group. We will just use the average of the rolls; 8.

Rolls

Gog initiative - (1d20+2)

(10) + 2 = 12

Brug initiative - (1d20+2)

(5) + 2 = 7

Sguk initiative - (1d20+2)

(1) + 2 = 3

Percy initiative - (1d20+2)

(9) + 2 = 11

OOC:
If someone would like to get an initiative higher than 8, it would be appreciated

Rolls

Initiative - (1d20+1)

(5) + 1 = 6

Aug 7, 2016 12:39 pm
Rylie gets ready for action, but whispers to Gaze, "You first this time!"
OOC:
Do Gaze and I get a surprise round since we're hiding so cleverly? In any case I'll let Gaze go first since I had all the fun last time :)

Rolls

Initiative - (1D20+3)

(19) + 3 = 22

Aug 7, 2016 4:40 pm
"You got it!" Gaze responds, a slight grin forming on his face.

Rolls

Initiative - (1d20+4)

(13) + 4 = 17

OOC:
Rylie and Gaze will catch the group by surprise, so you get a free turn and then the initiative turn. Have fun!
Aug 8, 2016 10:53 pm
With a quick nod to Rylie, Gaze grabs a tight hold of his rapier, and runs forward, lunging at the first goblin in line.
OOC:
Ignore the initiative roll - forgot I had rolled above.

Rolls

Rapier Attack / Damage - (1d20+6, 1d8+4)

1d20+6 : (19) + 6 = 25

1d8+4 : (8) + 4 = 12

Initiative - (1d20+4)

(3) + 4 = 7

Aug 10, 2016 3:20 pm
Rylie leaps out from behind Gaze with a spittle-flinging screech of halfling fury as she stabs, punches, and kicks her way through the group of goblins on the bridge. In the flurry she plants a big forward kick right on one of the goblin's butts in hopes of sending the little bastard flying off the bridge to its death!
OOC:
I'll just work my way down the line of goblins with these attacks, closest to farthest. The shove attack is to push a goblin 5 feet off the bridge, and is opposed by its Athletics or Acrobatics check. A shove uses the attack action, so I get to do an unarmed strike after!

Rolls

Surprise round shortsword (advantage) - (1D20+5, 1d20+5, 1d6+3)

1D20+5 : (20) + 5 = 25

1d20+5 : (2) + 5 = 7

1d6+3 : (1) + 3 = 4

Round 1 Shove attack to push off the bridge! (Athletics) - (1D20+4)

(2) + 4 = 6

Round 1 unarmed strike - (1d20+5, 1d4+3)

1d20+5 : (6) + 5 = 11

1d4+3 : (3) + 3 = 6

Surprise round unarmed strike (advantage) - (1d20+5, 1d20+5, 1d4+3)

1d20+5 : (11) + 5 = 16

1d20+5 : (5) + 5 = 10

1d4+3 : (3) + 3 = 6

Surprise round shortsword crit - (1d6)

(5) = 5

Gaze you step up to the first goblin, running it through with his blade. Tyler is a swirling mess of flesh and steal, slicing the first goblin in line downing it, failing to shove the second of the cliff but delivering a heavy strike to its neck almost caving it in.

Gaze your up.
OOC:
sorry about the delay, there was a lot to catch up on...
