Thanks for having me Vorn! I was thinking of trying out the soldier-sniper path. If its possible to call dibs on squads I'd like to be in Arina's, they're a fantastic role player.

No problem! I am planning on grouping the first 5 clones together with the 1st jedi and so on. Arina, can I confirm you are going to have a jedi padawan? :) would like to say how many jedi spots are avaliable on the game's main page just in case people want to be a jedi but find out both spots are taken.

I haven't fully fleshed out my character yet but I'm thinking of playing an older padawan who believed they were ready for the trials of becoming a full jedi knight but the council disagreed and that's why they sent me here to lead a squad of clone troopers. Probably to teach me some humility.

Ok, sure! :) just note that your master has to have been killed due to the war, leading to your deployment on Kamino. Keep in mind that your padawan cannot be over the level of say Anakin during episode 2. Meaning they have gone through some skirmishes and stuff, but never full out battle. The padawans are meant to learn to be commanders and jedi through this experience if ya get what I mean :)

No problem. I think that fits well. My character just thinks that this experience is unnecessary. That doesn't mean she is right! She believed that after her master died, she should have been given the rank of Jedi Knight but the council disagreed and sent her to Kamino to be part of this program thinking she still has much to learn. She acknowledged their decision but she thinks it is unnecessary and she is eager to prove that she is ready to fight and lead troops on the front lines.

Sounds good! Can't wait for your character to be ready! :) Please do encourage any friends you have who are interested, as I am planning to start the IC squad by squad, meaning once a full squad if formed, the ic for that squad will start first and once the 2nd squad is completed, then they will start.

You could probably post in the other game or send PMs. I'm sure warranted won't mind. Most players play multiple games.

I have submited my character. I deliberately built her to be a melee monster but she is pretty lacking in skills and equipment. She will make an excellent combat tool but she's gonna need a lot of help from some specialised soldiers. She has no ranged attacks, slicing, medical or survival skills. She's also not particularly suited to talking, although I realise that she probably will be the face of her squad.

Do we get a preference over choosing obligation/duty, and do we start with any special equipment?

Edit: for stats I'm currently looking at agility and cunning as my primaries.

2nd Edit: Since we can do other races could I be Chadra-Fan? I have a character left from another game I could adapt. Backstory would take some tooling but taking your prompt of a second chance: was involved in a smuggling gang (perhaps with the intent of being with a close-knit group instead of anything overly malicious) as a scout and security due to his natural marksmanship. Gang gets arrested, he accepts the offer to fight for the republic because prison sounds bleak. Realizing Kamino is one vast ocean would probably make him a bit squeamish given the Chadra-fan's past with tsunamis.

Hi everyone! So with Arina taking the first Jedi padawan position, I'm going to put my bid in for the second Jedi padawan. I'm not sure exactly how I'll style that, though. I'll go for someone who can handle a lightsaber at least, to keep it in style with the Clone Wars setting. The rest might depend on what can support the clones best.

If we need extra defense from incoming fire, I could make a protector/soresu defender. If we need someone more skill-based, I could make a shadow/shien expert.

Oh and arina, could you help place your morality value inside the form too? I will need to know to measure your force side after evwry session. Same for jesster, when ya make your jedi, please do include your morality value.

For clones i think it'll be more duty, while for enlistees, it'll be obligation or duty, depending on how you enlist. For starting equipment, I will come up with a list for the clones and the enlistees and a seperate one for the jedi later on.

With all the force-users taken, I’m almost definitely rolling a clone.
Just gotta figure out what spec to roll and list of already canon clone names to stay away from.

And you can always take a name that you like Matt :) my clone is called "Hope", cause he always tries to inspire other clones on the field. If your clones a jokester, he can be called Joke? XD

Am I able to use a mentor discount for Force powers at the start, considering padawans during the Clone Wars were trained by their masters?

We got like 150 extra xp to spend. That's a ton!

What do ya mean by mentor discount? Actually the 150xp was meant to show that they had experience being trained by a master for a period of time.

Force and Destiny page 109. Force sensitive groups using the FaD ruleset can choose a group resource, one of which is a mentor. That enables them to learn new Force powers (but not the upgrades) for 5 xp cheaper.

Is this something we would have access to?
