I need to apologize to all of you.

I have been selfishly and unfairly holding on to the slot in your game because I genuinely wanted to join, but to be completely honest, I'm struggling with character creation, specifically spell selection. On top of which I am somewhat overwhelmed by all your world lore (I have been reading along the story thread, have gotten maybe four pages in, not understanding he geography and politics) so as much as it pains me (because none of my other games right now are active enough to satisfy my desire to play), I think the most polite thing for me to do now is to bow out. I apologize for any inconvenience I've caused everyone!

I really want explore both the world that lies before us and the character I created, but I'm honestly having a hard time to feel involved in the game with our current posting rate.
Not to blame anyone, I sometimes have a hard time maintaining a good pace in my own games, but I'd like to know if this is a temporary slow down or if it rather looks like a more durable change in pace.

I would like to speed it up if we can. Maybe 2-3 posts a week?

I'd be happy if we did, is everyone ok with it?

I honestly cannot guarantee that for another 17 weeks at least. However, that said if you would rather I would be willing to bow out. I understand I am the one holding things up, and with training not getting any lighter i can't make any promises until it's done.

I'd like to hold on to everyone present, if we can.

I'm happy to up the posting rate...I my self have slowed down, as Ornux is aware as he is in at least one of the games I DM. So I will do my best as well.

I guess he meant that I'm aware of the slow down :)

I absolutely hate that I have to write this but I'm afraid I need to go on hiatus for an indeterminite amount of time. My work life has simply become too demanding for me to perform the level of work that I need to as well as provide my family the love and attention they require. As a result of those demands, the gamersplane emails have morphed into another form of stress as it feels like another "task" I need to accomplish during the course of the week instead of something I look forward to as it once was not 6 months ago. I love this community and the people I have met here. Great creative people.

I hope that somehow my workload can be reduced in the future so that I can return in some capacity, but I have been kidding myself for the past several months as my games have drug on and on as my posting rate has steadily declined. My apologies to my players as I have had so much fun dm'ing and guiding these stories. As well to my DM's who done the same for me.
