IC(In-character) thread

Arina takes offense at the very possibility that she couldn't keep up with this bunch of non-force sensitives. Regardless, of their genetic makeup or species, she clearly believes her abilities to be superiour. She tries to keep her emotion from her voice though. She manages to keep most of it out and anyone who is not a Jedi Master wouldn't notice her reaction.

I believe my skills are up to the task at hand, master she says but feels a little stressed that her new master would think so lowly of her abilities though.

He must not have many friends. Kikli thought, watching Hotshot dismiss the others so quickly.

Arina looks confused for a moment before replying You may as well have asked me why I breathe.
Being a jedi is everything to me. I want to be able to help those who need it. I want others to look up to me. I want to uphold the values of our order. Mostly, I want to protect and defend those who cannot defend themselves.

Dagger shakes his helmeted head to try and lose the jeers that are playing at his nerves all the while keeping pace with his Gamma brothers...

"Don't worry team, at least we aren't getting shot at after escaping with contraband." Kikli does his best to lift everyone's spirits the only way he knows -and distract himself Elara's threats-, drawing inspiration from his past life.

Kikli copies his squad-mates, trying to suppress his tired breathing while standing in line.

I will do as you wish master, but I am ready to do whatever you ask of me. The enemy won't wait until I'm well rested before they launch their attack.

Visitor? Kikli's ears perk up at this, excited to meet someone new. "Yes Ma'am! Who are they?"
