The dire wolf lunges fearlessly at the winter wolf and they become a mesh of claws and limbs sending both the winter wolf and orc chief tumbling. As the blood hunter inside Ug begs to become free, the barbarian inside him fights to maintain some semblance of control and for a moment it does. Ugs swings are calculated and less wild. He connects securely on each hit, but not as powerfully. As his enemy still stands, the beast inside Ug roars in defiance and the pounding becomes almost unbearable. Ug is not likely to hold back again.
Dire wolf deals 24 damage to the white wolf and knocks both wolf and rider prone. Ug attacks now with advantage and deals 61 damage to the orc chief.

After some time of skulking, he comes to the town hall. Pomab and the two guards are gathering the bodies of the orc assassins that they can find - or, at least, the guards are working and Pomab is sneering at everything.
The merchant seems to be muttering to himself. If Vince gets closer, he may be able to hear what is being said.
Then Vincent pulls the magic stored inside the dagger on his belt into himself. Then he converts his sword to a bow, and waits, arrow drawn for the Spector to attack.
Shining arrows sweep through the ranks, perfectly picking out orc targets. Every arrow that strikes slays an orc, and some even punch entirely through to hit yet another orc behind the first (Zen takes 36 damage).
Vghotan charges forward upon his monstrous steed, lance aimed for Ug's heart. Foes and allies alike stare as one of the slain wolves animates and tackles the winter wolf, throwing its rider to the ground. Ug is immediately there, slamming away with his enchanted maul. A lesser opponent might have been killed, but Vghotan rises with a roar. Lance dropped in the fall, the orc pulls an axe from a strap on his back and lays into Ug with a heavy swing - and stares in shock as his weapon shatters upon Ug's frosty armor.
The winter wolf rips savagely at its undead foe, only to find that the magic animating it has already expired. With a growl it turns upon Ug and opens its jaws to unleash icy breath upon him. Ug barely feels it (After resistance, Ug takes 6 cold damage).
Inspired by the heroes fighting alongside them, the militia dog in their heels and strike hard at their attackers. Still, several more fall as the enemy shows no sign of retreating.
More crashes sound as boulders continue thunder against the gate. Savage battlecries echo over the walls, far too close for comfort.
Lord Ulbrec and Commander Crale work tirelessly to organize relief for the wounded, and ten fresh militia soldiers join the fray. Lady Elytharra rests upon a mat nearby, but she watches the battle with a dirty hand over her ash-streaked face.
Militia took some damage, but is "healed" 180.

The merchant digs frantically into a pocket. "Alalla! I... You! You can't kill me! Th-that's beneath you!" The axe hits home, and he drops whatever he is fumbling for. He gasps in pain. "You're insane! You're absolutely crazy! The orc blood in you has finally made you like them!" Alalla's sword stabs home, and the sound of searing of flesh mixes with Pomab's screams.
The last orc guard, still wearing the magical disguise of a human soldier, drops to his knees at the sight of Alalla. Awe stains his every Orcish word. "I see you now... Daughter of Gruumsh!"
Pomab grabs the item he dropped - some small trinket - and gasps an arcane word. He vanishes.
Alalla, the last guard, and the specter remain in the flickering light of the town hall's flames. Vincent is still behind his barrel.
Players are up.
You've let things slide by long enough, part of herself whispers. If you don't deal with things conclusively, they come back to bite you. A sliver of her convulses, crying for Erevain. She reacts with a sharp chastisement. You had it coming. You were a fool to accept the risk before. She steels herself once more.
Alalla turns to appraise the disguised orc. "Tell me everything you know," she demands in harsh Common. "Quickly." Her sword still burns at her side.
