Howdy, folks! Brand new player here!

Never played an RPG in my life but I have always LOVED Star Wars (esp. KOTOR I and II because of the deep immersive experience) and I kind of want to get into SWRPG's and thought this would be a good place to start! I listened to the first season of the Dice For Brains podcast (a live-play SWRPG podcast) in preparation for my debut here. Please let me know if you have any advice about getting started!

Welcome! Can't go wrong starting with the New Player Guide

Welcome Che_Gerrera! As WarDomo said, the New Player Guide is a good starting point. Otherwise, just look for games you're interested in and apply! Bare in mind though that Play-by-Post is slower but a lot richer in story than live TTRPG formats, so if it doesn't catch you, don't let that hold you back from trying them in a different environment!
