The wyrmling eagerly eats the meat from Atrix, but spits out the chunks that were from hobgoblins.

Hasan sees no signs of the hobs.

(Common): "So are you going to take me to my mom? I think she went to look for my dad. He disappeared, too."

"It seems we are clear for now. Whatever it is we do we should do it quickly before they find out whats going."
Mar 28, 2019 5:25 pm
"We're going to find them both so you can all be together. Do you have any idea where we might find them?"
Mar 30, 2019 3:18 pm
The wyrmling jumps into the air, lands awkwardly in the sand, and scampers about. Sniffing, it starts digging into the sand and then reaches in with its neck and pulls out a long sword with its teeth. It drags it awkwardly back to Valinar and drops it at his feet.

(Common) "This is Kelorik. My mom gave it to me. It can find dragons."

It looks hopefully up at Valinar and Iathos.

"It's beautiful! And will be a great help! Iathos?"
OOC:
Valinar is rather attached to his double-scimitar, even though as a player I have decided it kind of sucks. So might be better in our hexblade's hands?

"We also need to keep you safe, little one." he said,"There are many creatures out there that would seek to kill you or potentially take you and try and ransom you back to you parents. Then there are other opportunistic magic users that would be very happy to get their hands on you."

(Common) "I am a dragon, I am magic incarnate. They should fear me!" The power of his draconic blood almost makes that sound convincing.

The wyrmling leads you all back to the entrance, showing you where the traps are, and then you find yourself scaling back down the mountain side and down to the forest. The journey back is fraught with tension at the thought of hobgoblin patrols, but you make it back to the farmhouse without incident. Tired from the ordeals and battles, you decide to make camp there for the night. Zoboanth sleeps in front of the fire place.

Watch order? Any tasks before sleep? And where are you headed to?

OOC:
There isn't much I want to do, I am happy to go ahead and take a long rest.
Apr 3, 2019 4:00 pm
Hasan will treat the wyrmling with respect and help it as needed. otherwise no. LR

OOC:
Sorry all! Work has been a little busy! I could use Kelorik if that makes sense for the party, but happy for another player to get a magic sword. At 3rd level and thereafter my pactweapon will function as a magic weapon so mechanically I'll get those benefits without having to hog loot. That said if no one really wants it then I can take it on!

I'm happy to take a late watch as I have darkvision. At the start of any watch I'll cast False Life, let me know when to roll for the temp HP.

Next step I think would be to attune the sword and try and use it to find our way towards the missing dragons. BUT! Do we want to keep the wyrmling with us, or would it be safer if we dropped it off somewhere? I'm worried that we get into combat a lot and it might get hurt.

Ruby will also rest to recuperate after their travels.
OOC:
If there is a watch period where darkvision isn't required I will. Not sure about the dragon situation but maybe we can convince them to hide in a backpack if a situation occurs.

Trev is already passed out.

OOC:
Alright, if no one else wants to attune the sword I'll go for it over the long rest.

Qralloq sent a note to Jovian83
The night passes uneventfully, save for the gentle soothing sounds of a forest at peace.

You each benefit from a Long Rest. Iathos attunes to the longsword Kelorik.

GM Prompt: Over your breakfast, you have a moment to discuss, what's the plan?
Apr 6, 2019 3:41 pm
Trev awakens before dawn weary of the dragon and starts the fire back up. Trev leaves the farmhouse before anyone other then the person on watch and hunts for food also looking for signs of dragons or hobgoblins while hunting.

OOC:
That was the conversation cave, correct? I suppose we make for the tribute cave next.
Apr 6, 2019 6:12 pm
Ruby hums softly while preparing breakfast, trying to get creative with their limited foodstuffs. When everyone is up she peers at Zoboanth, reminding her of the importance of their quest. "So the sword's like a...compass for dragons right? Shall we use it to locate Zoboanth's parents?"
OOC:
Whichever way is fine with me.
