Hehsh inspects the crispy troll, taking particular note of the badge on its chest. "Crossed axes. Hmm... Do any of you know of this mark or why it would be on a troll? I was under the impression that trolls didn't wear clothing of any kind, and that even simple tools such as clubs were a stretch for them." Looking over his companions, he quickly adds, "Perhaps a topic of discussion for another time. Those wounds are deep, and unless anyone has impressive powers of healing, they will not recover without a long rest. I suggest we make camp."

Ruby gently rubs her neck, having felt the effects of slamming down into the dirt at the moment. "That was awful, like being smothered by a goat during a rock slide." Despite this negative comment Ruby is determined to focus on right now, grabbing her pack as she prepares for more walking. "Still, we've got some lost ground to make up for."

So all us students get sent to our dorms, but then my friends, Barry and Don, remember that Emma is in the girls' toilet blubbering because Don had said mean things about her. So we rush over there but to our misfortune the troll catches us there. So we battle the monster - not a mean feat for first years - and that's why Professor McDonaldol awarded us 5 merit points each for pure dumb luck!"
