Gameplay - The Dragon Who Took Too Little

"Bats are so birds! Everyone knows that. If they aren't birds, what are they, snakes?" The pixie laughs so hard he falls out of the air and rolls around on the ground.

"No i'm pretty sure birds have feathers..." he says not understanding whats so funny

"I'm pretty sure a bat has more in common with a rat than a bird."

"What? Rats can't even fly."

"Sure they can. A flying rat is called a bat. I'm sure that's why they rhyme."

Hasan chuckles "Look Hehsh is being a poet and didn't even know it."

What do we see in the cave?

Under ground, the light from the sun only penetrates a free dozen paces before the gloom overtakes you. The slope down is steep, gravelly and treacherous footing-wise. When it evens out you find yourself on a cliff before some vast cavern. You can hear a waterfall below you. From the dark air before you, a shrill voice asks, "What brings the surface to the deep?" A light glows suddenly revealing a snow-white Kenku, perched on a ledge thirty feet from you, above immeasurable dark depths. It's eyes clouded and murky, it listens rather than watches you. The light emanates from a driftglobe hovering near it.

"We have been sent in association with the Faries?" Hasan looks back to the group as if he's unsure the species of our ally. "To seek aid in dealing with an growing threat that have captured an adult dragon."

"Pixies? Untrustworthy. They've attempted to abuse our people with their pranks too often. We caution from long experience to question any claims they make."

The solemn yet shrill voice echoes through the chamber, deep into the abyss below.

"No, We've seen it with our own eyes. We've sent out a envoy to try and spy on the hostile encampment."

"Though the pixies pranks are often in poor taste, We assure you, there is a real threat here that could be a danger to you."

The creature pauses for a moment head cocked to the side. His head then bobs up and down. "Very well. The bird people will join your cause. Send a pixie when you are ready, though be warned: when planning your assault, we only emerge at night."

"Does it have to do with sight? Or just the heat of the day?

"If I may inquire" hasan adds as an after thought.

"I'm very proud of you." Hehsh whispers under his breath. "That was mostly considerate. Also, does this seem almost too easy?"

"We are nocturnal, and vulnerable during the day. We will not emerge while the sun is out."

"Well, I for one am very happy you all will be joining us, and we will be sure to accommodate for everyone." Ruby says sincerely.

"Alright then Lets be going. We've to prepare."
