Gameplay - The Dragon Who Took Too Little

Altrix watched from the shadows as the melee erupted all around him. He watched as the hobgoblins cut down two of his new comrades with ease. In any other situation, he would retreat back into the shadows and disappear but this wasn't any other situation. From his place in the shadow, he readied his bow and took aim at the goblin nearest to him and loosed the arrow.

Having had to lay down his double-scimitar to lay his healing hand on Trev, Valinar leaves the weapon lying in the grass as he goes to aid his other fallen companions. Continuing to curse in elvish and drawing his flail, he rushes the hobgoblin standing over Iathos.

"HA! Serves you-" Before Ruby finishes her insult she remembers the remaining Hobgoblins. Dashing to the other ambush party she spins her staff in her hands, swinging it upwards towards the unoccupied Hobgoblins neck, following up with a hook kick.

Altrix swore as his shot went wide, no doubt due to his hands trembling. This was the first time he had been part of anything like this. Still, he steadied himself, drew his shot and fired at the hobgoblin closest to him once again.
