"You could just use the rope, if you'd like." Ruby dangles it a bit, worried for Hasan. Watching Trev make the climb without it gives her pause. "Wish I could do that." Grabbing the rope she begins the rest of her ascent.

OOC:
i wanna but i gotta make it to the rope first :D

No roll required if you use the rope. There is no 5e rule for taking ten.

Ruby had added a second rope so the rope reaches the ground.

Yes, Iathos has climbed up successfully. Let's move ahead and assume everyone has climbed up now.

As everyone eventually makes the climb, Valinar let's them catch their breath as he regathers the ropes. "Is everyone alright?"
Mar 1, 2019 8:41 pm
"Peachy." Having made it to the top, Ruby takes a moment to absorb the outside view, wondering if Illandra will be alright. She's tough. Besides, she is running away from the dragon. Turning to further respond, Ruby has a look in her eye when she spots Valinar's sword, like there is something weighing on her mind. That will have to wait however. "Should we do a battle formation?"

"Can I suggest that I do a quick recon before we move forward? The dragon may take a party such as ours as a threat but a single Kobold, alone? That is not a threat to any dragon no matter their age." Atrix suggested to the group.
Mar 2, 2019 3:26 am
"On the one hand, we don't want to meet the dragon as aggressors,"[b] Valinar tells Ruby,[b] "but on the other hand, we need to be prepared against a very likely hobgoblin presence."

Just then, Atrix suggests scouting ahead. " You make a good point. Valinar tells the kobold. "Just be careful."
Mar 2, 2019 3:31 am
Without waiting for any further conversation, Atrix made his way into the cave, keeping to the shadows, hiding behind the stalactites where he could. As he made his way forward, he drew his bow and knocked an arrow, keeping it at the ready.

Not a great start :P

The large cave entrance quickly narrows into a 5-foot-wide passageway. sunlight filters into the passage, creating bright light for about 15 feet, and dim feet for another 15 feet. Trev sees ahead a four way intersection.

There are four possible routes to go I can lead the way if we want. I am very familiar in caves.

"Let us perhaps be careful not to cluster too closely together, friends. If the dragon takes poorly to our intrusion, well, dragon breath and all that." drawls Iathos.
Mar 2, 2019 6:47 pm
True one well placed flame and we would all look like roasted chicken.
Mar 2, 2019 8:58 pm
"Should we have brought some food?" Ruby pitches in, trying to identify any markings or sounds which could help them choose a path.
