So, this isn’t something I’ve encountered while DMing. I want to reward you for your good Roll, but I don’t know how to continue the storyline based off of it.

You could have Dominus develop some camaraderie with Alyndin, even if he doesn't do exactly as persuaded. Its not like you asked for the check.

I was considering failing the save, but giving inspiration for maintaining character choices

Something like "Hah! Tell you what, you win out there and I'll get you that mug of ale. Best of luck." and then have the Dominus be less of a bastard (at least to Alyndin) would go down well, I think.

Exactly what i was thinking. I've found that role-playing rewards are often more rewarding to the players than mechanical rewards.
