Character Creation

So what does everyone know about Savage World for Character Creation. There's a few changes to the new version but the short version is come up with a concept and there's no dump stat.

I just tried doing my character right now, Rem. Submitted it and sent you a PM with the steps I made during character creation, so you can verify everything. Hope the character is fine, but let me know otherwise!

I have no idea. :) Never done a savage worlds game before. Thinking over some character concepts now.

Oh yeah, I probably should let people know that I'm going to play the mean girl trope.

It's the 80's so I'm thinking of going complete punk rocker.

Brindy is a Linguistics - Morphology major, who's primary trait is that she is a notorious one-upper. She's a bit of a geek, but streetwise.

I made the character on the weekend, so I submitted it.

Sorry, I was planning on putting mine together today. I haven't made a savage worlds character before so I need to find a guide somewhere. Looks like the game is filling up though, so I should probably get on that. :) Still thinking of going with the punk rock kid.

I just need to review Cato, unsure on the other two new PCs. Xemuz & Nerom any questions/issues/ideas for a character. Also @Cato what's your major?

As far as major goes, I'm thinking he's still undeclared, though if he has to take one, it's probably something like business accounting. I mean, it's not like he goes to class.

Well it's been a week and the other two have gone inactive and never posted a character either due to time or lack of knowledge.

@cato You get a free Athletics, Common knowledge, Notice, persuasion, and stealth at d4 and have 12 points to put into skills, and remove guts since we won't be using the skill. Oh don't forget your +2 to Toughness and Parry.

Ahh ok. Sorry completely new to the system. I was using this to allocate points and such. I'm guessing Athletics would be under Agility?

Yep, there's no more throwing or climbing since that falls under athletics, I'll take another look when you're done.

Ahh ok. Removed climbing and throwing as well then, gave myself the free skills, and allocated the other 12 points. So, should be good to go now.

streetwise is now an edge btw.

Still no new players just waiting on Cato to make updates before approval, did yall want to try to trio this one shot? I mean I know mathematically/thematically how to kill you all in this system... You take your finals all failing grades cause levels of fatigue... XD

Hmm, not sure about doing this with just the two of us though. Maybe try drumming up interest in the general forums?
