I didn't mean he has a deal with them. He just chose to not reveil himself to them, and instead lets them commit whatever atrocities they want on the locals, who technically should be under his protection, what with him being a Jedi Master, and able to stop it without any effort.

Obviously, I can't elaborate too much on the master's character for potential spoiler reasons. The same is also true for the colony. All you know about it is that it is on the othet side of the planet.

However, we are free to discusd the flaura and fauna of the immediately surrounding area and the location of this unnamed planet.

Regarding its location. How much of a mystery do you want it to be? Are you happy to accept that I have a logical reason as to why the inquisitors and Darth Vader haven't found it yet and would you like that to be a mystery to be discovered in game or do you want me to spell it out for you?

I prefer the mystery. I am more than willing to accept that there are things we don't know.

As for local flora and fauna . . . I would like it if the fauna was flora and there were groves of predatory trees and shrubbery chasing us down. But really, anything goes for me.

I'm good with mystery, I just brought it up cuz I wasnt comfortable with the limited explanation we had and it seemed to fit the topic.

RE: the flora and fauna, just sounds like there should be lots of different species of various shapes sizes and types (herbivorous, omnivorous, carnivorous), don't care too much about the specifics beyond that.

Minor flavour detail...

Selak is Nautilan. And these aren't just the caves he chose to raise us in, these are the caves he chose to live in befeore he had his vision.

So I'm thinking at the very least a big underground lake, and possibly an extensive submerged cave network where he could have hidden whatever.

I believe that the mystery would do the trick for me... I know you'll cook something up that would just caught us off our guard about our current setting in the caves and the world where we are.

So funny you'd mention that, Carabas, but Vex and I have been talking about what sort of background flavor moment our characters might have had and we were thinking about possibly a trek to some cavern with a pool in it that we were told to find and mediate at, lol. Sorry, just a little coincident that I found amusing.

Anyway, like I said, I think having the sheer amount of flora and fauna present helping to mask our lifesigns, similar to Yoda on Dagobah, combined with some sort of metallic ore component of the caves helping to mask us from sensors on top of a strong Dark Side vergence or nexus hiding our force abilities could easily explain how we haven't been detected even if we were only on a somewhat out of the way planet. Put us on a planet that's, like, a 2P2R3S Astrogation check to get to if you don't have accurate information (which we will hopefully be able to have if/when we leave the planet) then that just makes us even harder to find.

Ok so not too many people have brought up the environment of the planet. I'd really like to know, as we have a rainforest we live in, but there are nearby mountains covered in snow. It is possible that there are rainforests here because there is a collection of cracks in the mantle of the planet that allows heat from the core to warm the waters and create hot springs and a pocket of verdant, moist foliage and miraculous animals and plants that don't exist elsewhere? Like a tiny garden of eden?

It's also entirely possible that we're in more of a temperate rainforest here where the caves we live in are located. Which could account for nearby mountains covered in snow.

Yup. I love it. Not what I had in mind but let's go with yours.
