Marbo always leaves one hand free so he can hold a patient's hand during surgery.
I love the concept of both of these. Even though hes not accustomed to human emotion, Marbo still tries his damn hardest to be empathetic when he can be, and holding a patients hand, even if it makes them uncomfortable, or patting their hair, is exactly something he would do.
