OOC Nonsense

Ive read none of the away team thread.

I don't know how you do it. I'd die of curiosity. I mean, if it was a rule or something, I'd obey it. But it would hurt.

I just realized that if I want to recap what has been happening, I either have to spend super much time writing everything up or be sloppy about it and just do it from memory, which wouldn't be much help, I think. Let's just establish where every PC is at the moment and then we can go on from there. If there's any specifics that anyone is unsure about, we can clear that up.
For the next episode, I'll keep a diary of important events from the beginning.

Lorq, Alex, Zephyr: You have escaped from captivity by the pirates and are currently still on board of the USS Verdun. You have set off a distress beacon broadcasting your names and location. Now you have to hide from your captors until someone arrives to rescue you.

Cass: You have taken back command of the Potential and you're on the bridge. You were leading some negotiations with a newly arrived pirate and have given them some time to think over your proposal of moving the parasites into robotic bodies. You and Darcy are doing okay at the moment and she is still serving as your First Officer. She is not on the bridge at the moment.

Kendall: After being taken out of the action by Darcy during her short time commanding the Potential, Cass has now said you're back in but she's been mostly ignoring you, so you are out looking for her. At the moment, you are at sickbay but have been informed that Cass is on the bridge now.

Marbo: You have just finished moving the captive parasite into the robotic body when it gripped you by the arm and demanded to be taken to Cass, who it still believes is Captain Tulak.

Moira: After some shenanigans involving the holodeck and Darcy, you have been confined to your quarters for the time being, where you are secretly working on a very risky plan involving the replicator that you have not informed anyone about and that we have been discussing over private messages.

Looks accurate to me, Spinach. Lav, Cass is gonna be so mad at Moira for keeping her out of the loop! :D

Not gonna lie, i was pretty sure marbo didnt know about cass pretending to be captain tulak, hes also not met tulak so he doesnt know who that is.


Prepare for a great yelling match between a slug and marbo.

Marbo has met Tulak. She came aboard with a couple of her crew right after we escaped the pirate ambush. Marbo was in that meeting where we discussed setting up an ambush for the pirates.

Marbo was also in the cargo bay during Cass' conversation with the captured pirate (the one who eventually attacked her). At the very beginning of that conversation, he asked her for her name, and she said she was Capt. Tulak, because they were trying to keep him under the impression that he'd been taken to the Antarctica, since the Potential for Disaster was still hidden.

You were there during their interaction so you should know. Although it's possible Marbo was somewhere else with his thoughts and didn't realize or forgot about it.

Not sure why anyone is confused. There are only over 2100 posts.

Well, actually, he gave the order to be spaced. I guess we're waiting to see if it happens.

Poor Cass has no idea what's going on. In ten minutes some intern will just run up to her and tell her that Marbo spaced himself and only then will she realize what he meant by catch me

By then, her solemate will be hopelessly adrift.

1. Kendall. I feel like that's exactly how Obi Wan died.

2. ROBB. Was Marbo's comm on? If Moira had the safe word, would he have her patched in?

MArbo was also furiously working at developing a tranquilizer gas to disable the pirates during that meeting, so its possible he missed it. Either way, Marbo is gonna ride this slug into space, and watch it die. Its not a "Civil" race so hes not to upset about it dying, plus theres loads more on the pirate ships. this one was just an envoy.

In all honesty, my space suit should keep me alive for long enough tobe caught by the potential if we can maneuver the ship properly. You would also get an Airlock depressurization warning on the bridge most likely. If you saw the warning coming from the medbay airlock, then you would clue in quick, Cassano is a smart woman.

Either way, When it comes to science and failsafes, marbo knows that the safety of many comes before the safety of the few. Plus worst case scenario i have an idea for my next character if marbo does indeed die or end up drifting hopelessly.
