Also, the 5e character sheets use a different schedule for calculating ability modifiers than basic fantasy. This is especially relevant to your spell count. Nevertheless, I think instead of fighting with the character sheet, we should just go with the 5e ability modifier schedule. What do you think?

elperdador, I just noticed that I can enable custom character sheets. Let's use custom sheets instead of the 5e sheets. That will make things less confusing I believe.

Also, forgot to mention, feel free to use your max hit dice when making your lvl 3 character. You can roll for hit dice after leveling up after that.
