Background
In ages past, there once stood a small city in these parts. The city, being subject to constant orc attacks, maintained a sufficiently defensive militia to ward away such attacks as they occurred. This militia stood for centuries, and many commanding officers came and went throughout the years.
General Oscar Montarthas, known for being fair, firm and stern towards his men, was the last to command this post. Not long from retirement, General Montarthas employed an advisor, Gertrude, who would assist the General in decision making with the forthcoming yearly orc invasions. Heavily undermanned, the city ultimately fell to the orcs and was abandoned, with only the manor standing the test of time. To this day, the manor is the only still standing building to be seen for miles around.

OK you guys have been trolling about on your way and you stopped in a town over. You all have heard rumors about this Manor there about the riches that might lie in or the evil that exudes from it. Most of all the stories you heard all have a common element. It's Haunted.

You've banded together and decided that riches could be worth it or the fame of those who prove the stories about the house. Either way you make your way. About a day's travel out you make your way to the ghost town. As expected there is nothing here but rundown buildings and some tumbleweed battles that have taken place in the absence of life.
To the north of the town you see up the a hill of deadend trees is a manor. This must be the manor the stories were about you think to your selfs

It is said that a brilliant green emerald, imbued with a great and ancient power, lies at the heart of Montarthas Manor; this is rumored to be the source of the manor’s evil.
Is one of the things you recall from each of the stories. Weather the emerald is worth many golds or its the evil that is causing the house to make people disappear. You don't know.

You make your way up the path past the dead branches and debris from the trees. You can sense that the trees in this area have been dead for quite a bit of time. Shortly the path turns from a dirt path to stones, then cobble stones.
As you approach the mansion you notice that the blackness of the stone is unnatural and almost tainted. The air grows thick, and what little light that the night gives somehow becomes duller and duller the closer that you get to the evil dwelling.

Mar 13, 2019 6:04 pm
Deathly afraid, Scooby huddles up against Shaggy, who tries to calm the dog down though his voice is trembling as well. "Don't worry, Scoob, we're all gonna be fine as long as we all stick together. Right, guys?"

"This could take forever. I'll try to find my own way in."

While the others are working, Melissa steps back to survey the upper floors of the house for windows with broad sills, balconies, skylights, or any other potential ingress.

The ritual goes off, the house seems to emanate with magics. There is one room in particular that has a balcony on the second floor, there's a chance. It's at the front end of the house, There's also a smooth wall that doesn't go all the way up near the front. You have a feeling its either a private dining area or some kind of pool thing.

Religion, no, History and the stories you've heard.

Not long from retirement, General Montarthas employed an advisor, Gertrude, who would assist the General in decision making with the forthcoming yearly orc invasions. This advisor was, an evil hag, who planned to ruin the city and use its population to feed from the power of their life force. This was achievable by seducing the General, and corrupting his heart with a powerful green emerald.

or so the story goes. Nothing would explain to why the buildings warded so.

Scooby now bolstered with his friend near him manages to make a dent into the stone. Scooby manages to pull hard on the stony statue that it ends up taking a knee with the force of the dog on it.

She connects but doesn't seam able to crack the stone of the downed foe. As the clink resounds in her ears the flame dissipates from her weapon.

True, although all my other Spells are defensive and I don't have war magic yet.

And I just noticed that I have extra attack already (as I said, still kinda new to DnD).
It specifies that I can attack again, if I used the attack action.
Green flame blade says, that as part of the cantrip I have to attack. Would that count? Or would I need war magic to be able to use green flame blade and another attack?
Because as long as I am fighting only one foe, 2 attacks would be stronger than green flame blade...

Not. You're not taking the Attack action (you're taking the Cast a Spell action), so Extra Attack doesn't trigger.

Green Flame also can only jump to another enemy within 5 feet of the first, so in this kind of situation where they're on opposite sides of the room, it's just doing the extra 1d8 fire damage to your primary target. The extra attack is definitely better in most cases.

This room is a raised platform, a step up from the foyer and the tea room, and is situated at the bottom of the stairwell. There is a cushioned sitting couch in the south-west corner of the room, it has an old worn children’s doll laying on it.

In the north-east corner is the stairwell climbing up and down. Blocking the stairwell is a portcullis. Situated to the right of the stairwell is a
statue of a griffon sitting atop of a pedestal holding up one of its front talons as if it were trying to knock on something.

A large sunken room with a fireplace and hearth situated in the north-west corner, many such a manor. This would be the Tea Room. There are three small round tables for guests to sit and consume tea and other assorted refreshments. A glass chandelier hangs on a sturdy chain from high above.

"We will disappear, just the two of us, my love" the man says dreamily.
"Oh, General Montharthas, but what of your wife? And we have work to do." She reminds him.
"Never mind her, she will cope. And your army of undead... Let us not talk of this tonight" he replies as their apparitions fade and the room is once again empty.

You feel the coldness that was once in the room now intensify. As if the loss of a loved one or the something missing from a whole.
May 28, 2019 10:10 am
"Awww..." Scooby and Shaggy both get dreamy-eyed watching the romantic encounter, but startle at the mention of an undead army! "Zoinks! Did he just say 'army of undead?!?!'"

With what seems like little options you make your way back through the cold and now creeky house. You enter the ballroom once again and make your way towards the glass doors. You approach the door you can see what used to be nice pool furniture is now been rotted or molded. The pool stagnate. 3 skeletal figures lie prostate on the west end of the pool.
The glass door seem stuck as you tug on it to open. At the last moment the handle is ripped from the glass door as it shatters. The door flying open.
Wafting through the now open doorway the stench of decay and mold. Stepping though the doorway Dargo notices a ripple on the alge in the water.
Everyone but Griol notices a gleaming bejeweled sword laying on the deck beside the pool. Leaning against the East end of the Alfresco area.

This is the clerk’s office, where a writing desk sits in the south-western corner and a single door on the eastern wall.
Behind the desk, a skeleton is busy at work writing down something in a translucent ethereal ledger book.

As you enter the room you notice something that seems very
unnatural, though not unexpected in a place such as this. It
is a skeleton busy at work behind a writing desk, frantically
writing notes in an translucent ethereal ledger book.
It looks up at you with empty eye sockets, its jaw starts
to move as a hauntingly high pitched voice says "ahh, you
are here! He has been waiting for you!... You may proceed Advisor Gertrude!"

From behind, you feel something evil and dark trespass
through your bodies, as the aspect of a dangerously beautiful
woman with dark and deadly eyes walks straight through you,
a smirk on her ghostly smile. She walks straight through the
closed door and disappears, whilst the skeleton clerk goes

Melissa draws her bow and moves to the corner of the room, keeping a very careful eye on the animated skeleton while she waits for one of the more undead-smitey members of the party to take charge of the situation.

While Shaggy holds Scooby, they make their way over to the desk to take a peak at the etherial ledger. Melissa makes ready incase something were to happen.
Scooby in his shaking fit swings his tail just a bit to much and it lands on the skeletons hands. A snap can be heard as the tail breaks the hand of the skeleton and it crumples into ash. The book fades away.

The sounds of laughter can be heard from all around you.

Noises you hear Only listen to like the first minute or so.

Scooby and Shaggy decide to follow Advisor Gertrude through the door. Shaggy plugs his ears to not her the spooky laughter, but Scooby listens intently.

Shaggy opens the doorway.
As you look around the room, it appears empty at first, but within the blink of an eye, a small pretty girl, no more than 5 or 6, is suddenly sitting on the long bench that stretches the northern wall. She seems to be waiting patiently. The dark and deadly looking woman appears in the room, smiles at the child, and offers her a children’s doll. The girl smiles with joy as the woman evaporates. The child’s smile turns to pain and anguish as blood soaked stab wounds begin to appear on her silky white dress. She falls limp and tumbles to the floor before disappearing. You notice that the doll is left lying on the bench, a knife in its hand and a grin on its face.

It turns its head to you and lunges forth

Griol moves out of the way of the doll.

The Doll Makes its lunge towards Shaggy, the nearest target!
It attempts to drive the knife into Shaggys chest while swiping at his face.

I assume shaggy would have his shield at the ready?

The rest of you are up. A small little doll is going to town on Shaggy.
