Character Creation CC

I was thinking of reusing a third level halfling monk that I had created for another game (Kicsi Leszúr) assuming that I can get her to fit into Talos properly that is.

Shouldn't be a problem, I did change alignment to Lawful Neutral. I didn't really specify, all characters for this, should be neutral something.

What method of character generation? Roll, point buy or array?
Think I'm gonna make a druid. One of a few classes I have not played

I'm leaning toward an Eldritch Knight, probably a Stout Halfling, maybe with the Entertainer Gladiator background.

I'll roll, see what works:

Rolls
Rerolling a 1 - (1d6)
(4) = 4

Hrm! My first D&D 5E character. Will our party need a more dedicated healer (e.g. the arcane healer) or are a druid's healing skills sufficient? If the latter, then I'm nosing around Ranger, an arcane magic-user of some sort, or maybe something roguish. Attributes are below:
Rolls
4d6 [ RA ]
(1522) = 10
4d6 [ RA ]
(46225) = 19
4d6 [ RA ]
(5415) = 15
4d6 [ RA ]
(2111) = 5
4d6 [ RA ]
(34262) = 17
4d6 [ RA ]
(4515) = 15

Hrm. Re-roll aces didn't do what I thought it did. So trying again (to me an 'ace' is a one.. and re-roll means roll over, so obviously I got something wrong there!).
Rolls
4d6
(3616) = 16
4d6
(1662) = 15
4d6
(3463) = 16

(4115) = 11

(3411) = 9

(4526) = 17

I got 6 1s, so re-rolling those.
Edit: and re-rolling 1d6 for the [6,2] above in case you'd prefer I used the first set of rolls.
Edit2: Ok. That yields the following:
"re-roll aces" roll:
(6,5,2,2) -> 13
(4,5,2,5) -> 14
(5,4,3,5) -> 14
(2,5,5,4) -> 14
(3,4,2,4) -> 11
(4,5,1,5) -> 14 (do you re-roll a 1 when you re-roll a 1?)
Following roll
(3,6,6,6) -> 18
(3,6,6,2) -> 15
(3,6,4,3) -> 13
(4,5,5,5) -> 15
(3,4,4,1) -> 11 (do you re-roll a 1 when you re-roll a 1?)
(4,5,2,6) -> 15
I think I should take the first set, since it represents the truer case of "what I rolled" and doesn't have an 18 in it. But will defer to the GM on which is the most pure of the two and take that one. Sorry for the mess up with the re-roll aces.

Are there any race restrictions or class restrictions from the PHB other than no clerics and no paladins?

So where are we so far? An eldritch knight, monk, and where did you land falryx?
I'll go arcane something if you'd rather do Ranger or rogue.
