Wanting to Run a Game [SWRPG or DD5E]

I'd volunteer and consider myself an active poster, but I don't know the Starwars FFG system. I used to run Starwars d20 almost 10 years ago, but that's as close as I get lol. Hope you find someone soon.....Oh the joys and frustrations of pen and paper RPGs.

What is the Era? I’m unfamilar woth all of the new SW rpg stuff.

Force and Destiny is set after the original movies - I think. I love the system, but I'm not super into all of the Star Wars movies, lore, and what not.

Normally it's all set during the original trilogy era, but with books being released covering the sequels as well as Rebels/Rogue One, and Rise Of The Seperatists coming out sometime this year (hopefully), there is lattitude.

I would enjoy having another campaign to take part in. I only know the 5e system if there was still room for that unless you guys are going for swrpg

Looking for two more players for SWRPG right now. If that doesn't happen then I'll see if I can get a 5E game going.

New to gamersplane but have played SWRPG as player and GM, both in person and play by post via discord.

I typically build detailed character backgrounds with plenty of named NPCs to use as future plot hooks, and can provide some examples if you wish.

I'd be quite happy to play either of the Star Wars adventures, and have a couple of character ideas for both adventures.
