One of the goliaths chuckles at Mönkhbat. Looks like we found ourselves another one Hophead! You reckon he brought enough coin to drink us out of business? They both laugh loudly for exactly 4,6 seconds, then stare at Mönkhbat, not Hophead holding out his hand.
Please let me know how much Mönkhbat drinks this hour, there are about 8 horns worth of Fires of the Mist in the gourd, he has to pay 25 copper for it.

Maighan bumps into the man in front of her, her hand slipping into his pouch, but not without softly tugging on it. The man starts to reach for the pouch so she quickly pulls back her hand.

Alata stands, watches, scoffs and taps his toes to the upbeat rhythm of the next song, smiling momentarily at the brilliancy of the lyrics. After a while the play ends, but almost instantly a new group fills the stage, causing a few teenage girls near you to squeal loudly upon seeing a handsome and pretty well-known actor take his position.

Nàdair and Roddric spend the hour comparing different fabrics to Nàdair's eyes, pausing for a few minutes at a stall that only sells pockets.

Time Elapsed Since Festival Start - 2 hours

Current Party Locations
Group 1: Nàdair, Maighan, Roddric - Among the cloth vendors. Maighan apart from Nàdair and Roddric
Group 2: Mönkhbat - Drinking and wandering.
Group 3: Alata - Near a side stage with a small play happening.

Group visibility
At this point, all three groups are out of touch with one another. It would take ~5-10 minutes of an hour block for one group to find any other group.

"You may be right" Nàdair says surprised by Roddric's sudden interest and useful tip as they continue checking the fabrics. When she hears the excitement of the teenage girls, she stops everything and turns in that direction. "Oh! It is starting! Roddric, are you coming to the show?" she says far too excited about it, barely waiting for the wizard's reply before she rushes past the crowd to check out her handsome and pretty well-known actor "rival".

Alata moves away from the crowd still feigning his scoffing and foul mood. Towards the rear of the crowd. "Bahh, gawdy people and their gawdy music.."
OOC:
Alata will make my self imposed wisdom check and keep an eye among the crowd looking for anything "suspicious"

Maighan quickens her pace to catch up with the fellow she just pickpocketed, putting a hand gently on his arm to get his attention. "Excuse me, sir? I don’t want to alarm you, but I think that fellow there just tried to take something from your pouch," she says quietly, pointing at the fellow who bumped into her a moment ago. "You should check your belongings. It’s a terrible thing, someone taking advantage of the festival to pilfer from innocent folk like that."
OOC:
Adding a persuasion roll just to help convince him.

Mönkhbat blinks dully, wondering what the joke was. Just as his mind starts to churn towards the idea that maybe he is the joke, the premise of more alcohol overrides his rage.

"What'd you say it was? 25 copper?" he asks, feeling through his coin pouch without breaking eye contact with not-Hophead. "Here's a couple-a silver, friend."

Mönkhbat turns to the other goliath. "Hey Hophead. How's about you throw in some rope or twine around that gourd so's I can carry it around like a walking ada-ver-tise-ment?"
OOC:
Mönkhbat will pace himself, drinking one horn's worth of Fires of the Mist per hour unless something else catches his interest.
Jul 11, 2019 6:58 pm
Maighan: The man Maighan stops and talks to frowns, glancing inside his pouch quickly before looking at the fellow she points out. Well you Arschloch! The man moves quickly, jumping on the back of the "thief" while spewing profanities and accusations. Immediately people try to interfere and punches get thrown around. Within seconds a group of 7 men are in a fistfight.

Mönkhbat: Hophead looks at the other goliath, eyebrows raised. Say Meadface, do I look like a touwslager to you? Meadface snorts. Well no Hophead, I don't think you do... You look more like an expert in the art of alcohol creation. Hophead nods, turning back to Mönkhbat. We don't sell rope, try over there. He waves in the general direction of the stalls further away from the large podium, just as he does the crowd he waves towards moves apart as some kind of fight breaks out.
Jul 11, 2019 7:16 pm
Mönkhbat pauses, withdrawing his coin, but not putting it away. "I'm sensing hostility from this fine seller of refreshment. Now, I'm willing to spend my hard-earned money on your expertly-made mist fire, but something about your customer service is souring the taste."

The half-orc momentarily ignores the fight going on behind him as he stares at the goliaths. "So what's it gonna be? You gonna give me my gourd with some kinda twine to fashion a carrying handle, and take my coin which is more than what you were asking? Or you gonna walk outta town with nothing, 'cause nothing's what you're gonna have when I'm through with you."
Jul 11, 2019 7:47 pm
Roddric tags along toward the stage with Nàdair. If he passes any children, he will use prestidigitation to try to briefly entertain them with an illusionary image of a tiny blue dragon, while still trying to keep Nàdair in sight.
Jul 11, 2019 8:41 pm
Maighan continues whistling her song, wandering away from the fistfight without another thought. She continues a few stalls down and stops to beckon the stall owner over. "I was walking past that fracas over there and found this key. I think someone may have dropped it. I’m on my way out of the festival or I’d stay and see if I could return it. Would you mind?"
Jul 12, 2019 12:33 pm
Mönkhbat: Suddenly the jovial smiles on the goliaths' faces disappear. Hophead leans forward, placing his fists on the wooden boards of the stall, causing them to creak heavily under his weight. We DON'T sell rope, little one. I do not wish to fight you on this fine day but if you taunt us again I will put that gourd in your mouth. How's that for advertisement? Hophead's breath hits Mönkhbat in the face; a mix of their own brew and old garlic. Meadface chuckles darkly, standing up a bit taller and crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Maighan: The woman behind the stall looks Maighan up and down before frowning. And what do you suppose I'd do with it lass? Give it to the guard at the gate if you can't be bothered giving it to the rightful owner yourself. Now, was there any rope you wanted to buy perhaps?
Jul 12, 2019 3:59 pm
Mönkhbat's eyelid twitches and he leans forward to draw closer to Hophead. "I guess I have to use smaller words to get through that thick rock you call a head," he growls. "I ain't asking to BUY rope; this extra coin WAS a tip for the drink, 'cause I liked it.

"But now, I don't like you. And anytime I think about taking a swig of your pisswater, I'm gonna see your face and Tiny's face over there, and that's just gonna sour the whole thing.

"You don't want to fight? You been spoiling for one ever since I stepped up. So what's it gonna be, mountain man?"
Jul 12, 2019 4:08 pm
"Well, if you’re going to ask so pleasantly, how could I resist?" she says archly, folding her arms loosely across her chest. "What do you have that’s light and strong. You know," she says with a twinkle in her eye, "like me."

She tosses the key up, snatches it out of mid-air and pockets it smoothly.
Jul 12, 2019 4:34 pm
Mönkhbat: Hophead sighs, standing back up and grabbing the gourd, pulling it towards himself. A split second passes in tense silence before Hophead swings the gourd towards Mönkhbat's head with a mighty roar.

Anticipating the goliath to jump him Mönkhbat sees right through Hophead's attempt to hit him and simply leans back a bit, causing the gourd to miss his face by a few inches.

Maighan: The woman raises an eyebrow at you. Do you have eyes in that pretty little head of yours? We have these right here... She moves her hand over the stall, which displays a wide variety of hemp and spider silk rope. But.... Maybe I have something special for you right here.... She reaches down under the stall, pulling out a black box, placing it on the corner of the stall and opening the lid. Inside are only a few ropes, same thickness but different lengths, in black and red. Touch it, they feel quite soft, but trust me, they're almost impossible to get out off. Great for when you merely want to constrain someone, not actually hurt them...

Oh, this is the life! thinks Mönkhbat, relishing the chance to party like a mountain with a good old fist-fight. With a roar of his own, the half-orc takes this opportunity to try and lift the table to flip it and its contents over to the goliaths. "I ain't drinking your piss!" he shouts.

"You must be swimming in coin, as cheerful as you are to deal with," says Maighan, but the sparkle in her eyes says that she’s enjoying herself.

When the vendor brings out her ‘special stock’, Maighan puts a hand over her mouth as she studies the options. "Oh dear... what must you think I’d be using these for, hm?"

She runs her fingers lightly over the rope, then lifts only her eyes to the vendor. "How much?"
Jul 15, 2019 2:15 pm
Mönkhbat: Mönkhbat grips the edge of the table between him and the goliaths, flipping it on its side, causing gourds to fly through the air and Hophead and Meadface to be drenched in their own brew. Meadface wipes the booze from his face with his hand, grunting. That's it, you stinking piece of shit! All around people hurry away from this fight, or stop and stare, a few even cheering for Mönkhbat's table flip.
Hophead growls, leaping over the turned table, ending up right in front of Mönkhbat and swinging a mean left hook at him, landing it on his right ear.

Maighan: The day is young, plenty of people yet to come. Also I need to know who I have in front of me before I share my specialty... I'm sure a fine lady like yourself has plenty of ways to make good use of these. It's 8 gold for the 3 meter and 12 gold for 8 meter. You won't be able to find this anywhere else milady, great as a gift for that special friend too!

Mönkhbat: Meadface blinks twice after getting punched square in the face, then presses a finger against the side of his nose, blowing some blood out of the other nostril. Meanwhile Hophead chuckles, raising his left fist again, this time aiming for Mönkhbat's kidney. I'll leave the nose for you, brother!
Meadface replies with a big grin, taking a swing at Mönkhbat's nose, however as he takes a step forward he slips on the blood he just snorted on the floor making his swing go way wide. He does a half pirouette ending up with his back towards Mönkhbat.

Hophead had more luck, his fist hitting Mönkhbat's side.

Pressing down with his legs and tightening his core, Mönkhbat attempts to suplex Meadface backwards into Hophead.
