Found this earlier. Someone did all my work for me! Should be useful for those of you who need to take a look again at their character sheets. It will certainly be useful for me.

Nice :)

Some of the limitations seem like they either don't make sense, or are no-brainers. For example (based on Ariel's powers):

If you want to buy Flight 2, is there any reason not to also take the "Maximum speed up to 5" and "Speed is 2 when carrying someone" limitations? It feels wrong, because they're not actually limiting you in any way (your maximum speed is 2, since that's your AN). On the other hand, if the limitations have to be genuinely limiting in order to be taken, then Flight 2 is the same price as Flight 3, but Speed is 2 when carrying someone, which also feels wrong.

Similarly, if I have Teleportation 3 (with a maximum range of 1 mile), is there any reason not to take the "Range limit of 3 miles" limitation for a discount?

I get that the point isn't to build an optimised character, but man, the system doesn't make it easy to resist. :P

There are several ways to get your power "boosted". I know because my character is built on some of these principles. So this would limit your ability to benefit from that.

Yeah, that's fair enough. And the limitations would still be in place if you gained experience and leveled the power up, also. (Though I think you can buy them off, maybe?) I mainly just wanted to check that I hadn't misinterpreted the way it was supposed to work... and it makes a kind of sense that "weak" versions of these powers can be made cheaper by adding non-restrictive limitations, as an in-built adjustment to their cost based on how effective they are compared to the full-power versions.
