I'm new to this game. Give me the who what when where whys.

Indeed. Things are starting to take shape and the majority of the rolling is done. 4 / 6 so far and pretty quickly as well which is a good sign. Just Spaggo and runekyndig to go. If either of the two of you need assistance please do let me know. Spaggo as you don't have a copy of the book right now, starting a thread and making roll of a bunch of d10's I can run through the lifepath for you and write it up based on those results.

So far we have quite a mix of those born into servitude, given to other families and aristocracy. Some good fortune and some bad as well as a curse or two, some strong values and some love affairs as well. I will be asking about these in the coming days in order to flesh them out a bit but I think there is enough to start discussing who know's whom, who is friends / acquaintances with who, had runs in in the past or even more recently.

Some have started already discussing these things already which is awesome but if we could move those discussions here so it's all in one place for this step that would be appreciated.

I'm definitely up for some prior character interaction. Being a Nilfgaardian slave (basically), I'm not sure how to connect though.

Any ideas?

Could you have been sold again to one of the party who bought you to set you free? Could you be a runaway who was given refuge and a new identity by the criminal? Could you have been cast out due to the curse? Could you have been liberated by bandits after being sold?

I have begun asking questions in the character threads related to the lifepath rolls. I will get to everyone but it's gonna be a gradula process as it's a lot of typing and the middle of the night right now. If you feel you can preemptively answer the questions I am likely to ask then that would be a great help.

Squadfather I definitely don't have all the details but if you want our characters to develop a relationship I'm down for it.

That'll work, do you want to work on basic details or wait until the questions have been asked?

Perhaps you freed him and now out of loyalty he acts as "muscle".

It looks like Spraggo had withdrawn from the game. Shame really but I guess not having the book put the pressure on. So y'all will be 1 Human Bard down.

I got caught up in things today and didn't get to questions for the rest of you yet but I have scheduled in some rp time tomorrow after my rl tabletop gaming. I'm aiming to have character sheets, questions and background questions asked and answered by this time next week, perhaps even with the intro game threads opened up as well.

How are folks feeling thus far? runekyndig, you still game for this?

Yes I'm game, I'm just busy and out of town this Easter. But I'm almost done with my Witcher

Ahh yes of course, Easter. I had actually totally forgotten that was now and hadn't accounted for it. Hope y'all have fun one folks.

I'll definitely have it done by next week, I've been house sitting this week which has contributed to my delay.
I suppose it's a bit late for this question, but we might as well start now. The only pressing issue is the time the characters may have spent apart during their life events.

The muscle angle sounds good to me if that's what you want.

I've been inactive this last day, my apologies. I got caught up in something and forgot to pack my laptop or charger. I'm back now and I'll get to the rest of my questions and details throughout today.
