I don't know how popular V5 is on this site, but I have enjoyed what I've found of the V5 system, and would like to be able to play more games with it, trying my hand both new to the system and new to the site. Patience would be key to this, I am open to working with players to changing the city, or creation rules. I just wanna run a good story. I have a few ideas, and look forward to any interest.

I ran the 5e playtest on the site, and it was poorly written and even more poorly executed by me, haha. That being said, I'm interested in seeing how it all goes, even if we only get a scene or two done.

Does that mean you would be interested in attempting to play this? I've done a few in person games, nothing online.

Well, I was trying to coyly not really commit to anything, haha. Seriously though, I'd play.

In a related anecdote, I've been running a Vampire: The Masquerade (v20) game IRL, and moved the story line to 5e. Second Inquisition and all that. Also, I have not watched any of Geek & Sundry's VTM 5e show, but might.

I've played 6 sessions or so of V5 at an IRL game, and have the book.

I'd be happy to help you try out the system.

It might be worth noting though that the character sheet for "World of Darkness" is not for 5E, do you may want to make your game under "Custom"... or at least allow Custom character sheets.

I'd be open to trying V5. It's been a while since I've played World of Darkness.

I played a short campaign of V5 and found it to be really quite good. We focused on the coterie element of the game as new / fledgling vampires and it got very intense. I would be keen to explore more elements like that again as a game where the default unit of Vampire is the Coterie, who become your support network was very interesting. The relationship map is also great for tying characters together and to their touchstones.

Any ideas on where to find a copy of the corebook?

Yes to this idea and same question as above.

With utmost hesitation I write this, but what is the opinion of a Google Drive that has all the files as PDFs for Books?

I promise not to redistribute and violate any copyrights. The books will only be used for this game, which I believe isacceptable.

So, I'm good.

Are they legally owned? You can share them without allowing downloads...

Pirating in the RPG hobby kind of offends and repulses me. You'll never get a better return on a product than RPG books. For all the hours of enjoyment you get out of them, you're paying pennies for your fun, and supporting creative ppl in a hobby that struggles financially (with exceptions of course).

This book is also gorgeous so there's that too.

I agree that you should buy rather than pirate, and Ido buy a lot of games.the advantage of modern technology lets us share the game. If I like it and plan to play another game...or just really like it I will buy it.

I played in a short game of it last summer and enjoyed it. I have the book. I'd love to play. I'd even take a turn running if you wanted to rotate!
