Hey Ember, I just reread your post. Was wondering if you're in the same game as the rest of us. And for that matter if I'm in the same game as everyone else. My character is in New York for an archaeological conference. I assumed that is where we would all meet. Yiou sound almost like you're still caught up in 1918 Europe rather than 1925 New York.

Ha, yes we're all working separately for now in NY, and will shortly being coalescing around the aforementioned Jackson Elias character. Speaking of, Ember, you'll be up at some point today, so keep an eye out.
Looks like we lost 2 without any comment, which is frustrating as hell. It's fine for now, we can always pick up some more as we set-off around the world.
All, as an FYI, squadfather44 (Morgan O'Neal) is swamped with work right now, so I'm going to be taking control of his character for the next few weeks until he's able to come up for air.
Aldrusian and Pastiche, we'll slow on your stories for a moment, as we're waiting on the rest of the team to catch-up.
Lwunder, we're waiting on you; I know it's a holiday weekend, but assuming all key an eye on this, we should be in a place to group-up and begin the real adventure next week!
For combat, is it an option that we prepost our actions to help things move fluently? The actions can still be resolved in initiave order, and worst case, some action would become irrelevant, but I've seen this used quite successfully in other games.
Alternatively, there could also be a rule that without reply in 24H, you will be botted...
Having difficulty getting ahold of both Shark_Bone and Squadfather44. I'll play them through this encounter, but if I haven't heard anything by the end of it, I'll need to pivot and see if we can't find some other players.
Ok, I sent Knight a PM as well to make sure he's aware we're waiting. As mentioned, if I don't get any responses from the missing parties by tomorrow, I'll play for them through this encounter and reopen the Tavern thread to find some others.
Hey guys, just a bit of an update: the family and I are in the process of moving right now, which is why I've been so slow to update. I'll be in temp housing alone starting next week and should have gobs of time to post :). Thanks for your patience.
No problem! Btw, starting next week, we'll be abroad on holidays. Not sure how the wifi situation will be, but if you don't hear from me, that's the reason.
So sorry I'm been incommunicado - as mentioned, I've been in the process of moving ahead of the family and starting a new job in another state. Seems we may have lost a few players along the way, but I'm going to go ahead and play us through this encounter and then recruit more. Thanks for being patient.
Ok, just taking stock here: it looks like Knight, Shark_Bone, and Aldrusian are MIA...I'll leave them behind and if they ever rejoin, we can deal with that at that point.
So, assuming Emberskyes, Pastiche, Lwunder, and Machiabelly are still in? If so, we'll proceed as is and can work to recruit others from the Tavern.
However, I do have to admit that if this posting frequency will be typical for the entire campaign, and not just some temporary situation because of moving or the holidays, I find it hard to get fully invested. For such a long-term campaign, I think we should be looking at one post per player per day on average, to keep up the momentum and prevent things from petering out...
Of course, there could still be temporary situations. E.g., next week I will be travelling, and I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post.

I completely agree. I thought I made it clear the level of dedication needed in the initial ad.
Well guys, it looks like it might be time to call it for this game. It's been too challenging maintaining personnel, and it feels like it will be a herculean effort to regain momentum here. Apologies to those of you who were still engaged - I will look to start another CoC campaign shortly, likely one that is a little more manageable than Masks. If I can find a group that can commit to regular quality posting, I might revisit this at some point.
