Hi all, I'm looking to get a group of 3-4 players together for a run-through of a new chilling adventure for The Cthulhu Hack, a Call of Cthulhu inspired modification of the Black Hack. You'll be investigating in a sleepy British seaside town with a dark secret, during the 1930s interwar period.
For those unfamiliar with The Cthulhu Hack, in addition to the normal ability checks and usage dice of the basic Black Hack game, you also have access to two investigation usage dice called Smokes and Flashlights. These are used for social and physical investigation actions. A third usage die records your level of Sanity, and each drop in the usage die represents your character spiralling out of control.
If you haven't played The Black Hack or The Cthulhu Hack before, the system is very easy to learn and play, and is essentially a roll under ability/resource mechanic for the most part. The rules are available here for under $4: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/182803/The-Cthulhu-Hack
