Age of Rebellion or Edge of the Empire?

Hey gang,

I'm running a Force and Destiny game based on the beginner's box/adventure and it's sequel. I'm going to spin up another game on either AoR or EotE within the same forum in order to create a parallel story line with another group of heroes and eventually weave the stories in and out with the two groups.

I'll start off, as I did with FaD with the beginner's adventure.

So -- AoR or EotE?

Maybe I should actually get in on stuff on my own site! I'd lean AoR, mostly for more access to character options, though not set to either.

As long as someone is willing to help me character build, I'd love to play either (as I am travelling and away from my books). I'm in an EotE game, and I've played EotE before (and I've looked at FaD) so I'd love to try AoR!

I have a character built up from EotE ready to go just need another obligation for more money. If AoR is compatible and gamplay thebsame I don't care. With that being said i have only play EotE.

The three games use the exact same underlying systems; and as far as I know character builds are (mostly) compatible across the systems. The big things that change are the theme, style of story, location in the timeline and some of the the 'party mechanics' (like the Destiny pool, which I think varies in how it works between the games).

And whether the GM wants to limit things based on theme.

Room for one more? I'm down for any of the core rulesets; EotE, AoR, or FaD. Currently running a home campaign in EotE, and started a small game here with a couple folks. Would love some player time if you have room.
