With Aerihykloarara’s roar ringing in the ears of the giants, the heroes and their allies try to press their advantage.
The fallen giant near Reothadh punches out at the dwarf (22 damage to Reo if no Shield) and then tries to rise, but the tribesmen around it cut at its legs and arms and it falls once more. Reothadh finishes it off with a with his conjured weapon buried deeply into the monster’s chest. The tribesmen move on to the next two giants, but in a moment the seven warriors become five as two of their number are crushed (Tribesmen take 76 damage, and deal 53 to G2).
Vincent’s opponent seems to care not at all that a dragon is on the battlefield, for this giant is a seasoned warrior itself. Indeed, the skulls of wyverns and other grisly trophies decorate its armor. Vincent strikes like a viper, every blow fueled by shadowed power, but this giant correctly handles its agile foe. It simply falls forward on top of Vincent, blanketing him with its massive girth (Vince takes 65 damage). When it pulls itself back to its feet, Vincent lies flattened in the snow, barely alive but fading fast (Vince is dying).
Aerikykloarara is a silver dragon, with breath cold enough to freeze most enemies solid. Knowing that this weapon is useless against frost giants inured to even the most extreme cold, she calls on another use of her breath. She swoops down across the giants fighting hand-to-hand with her allies and exhales a paralyzing gas over the heads. Giants are hardy folk, but two of them succumb to the gas and are stuck mid-swing of their weapons, including the one looming over Vincent (Giants 2 and 4 are paralyzed). She passes by again and with another roar and incredible strength she tears into Vincent’s opponent, ripping away its life with draconic might (3 autocrits on paralyzed G4 and it dies. I think this heals Vince some?). She takes to the air again, claws and maw stained with frost giant blood.
But then… Cryshal-Tirith, the crystal tower created in Crenshinibon’s likeness, lashes out in retribution. Even in the light of day the tower emits a blinding glow, and a beam of incredible radiance flashes from the top of its spire to strike Aerihykloarara in midflight. The dragon is blasted and thrown into an uncontrollable tumble from the sky, and falls onto a nearby house, completely shattering the structure.
With great pain the dragon pulls herself free from the rubble, but with a mangled wing and bone jutting through two of her legs, she does not look good. Not to mention the seared flesh along the right side of her flank, neck and face. And then a thrown boulder smashes against her, and she writhes in pain. Then another boulder. And another. The trio of giant rock-throwers move out of the remnants of Vincent’s spell and pull more rocks from sacks hanging at their sides (Aeri takes a total of 168 damage. If not for Legendary Resistance, she would be dead).
Rastix comes to his senses and finds that his friends are in danger as dire as ever. Much to his relief, however, he finds a familiar glowing, winged figure appear at the head of a large group of reinforcements (Zen, Ilmadia, and their forces have just arrived).

Hopefully your friend in the tower can do something to keep it from doing that anymore 😬

Vincent slays the last giant, and then demonstrates his greatest display of shadow magic yet by ripping the monster’s spirit free to join the group as a ghostly ally (The specter’s size is huge).
The falling chunks of crystal throw up clouds of dirt and snow as they hit the ground, and flatten a few nearby houses and shops. A dozen barbarians and even a pair of giants are buried under enormous slabs of crystal.
A familiar behir scampers through of the falling rubble, just barely avoiding being crushed beneath it all. And on its back is Alalla, clinging for dear life as the giant lizard snakes its around and over obstacles, all six legs pumping to keep it ahead of the destruction.
Once free of the immediate danger, it bucks Alalla free and tears its way out of town as quickly as it can (Alalla can make her way back to the group).
No sooner does the rubble settle than all the crystal debris vanishes as the magic that conjured it dissipates. What remains is radius of shattered earth, flattened houses, a number of bodies, and the broken down walls of the Temple of Tempus at its heart.
And two giant men of metal standing on either side of the temple.
But the humans...
The tribesmen once swayed by the magic of the tower clutch their heads as they stumble about, though many make their way over to the heroes’ forces with hands in the air. Those who pass by too closely to the devils find themselves quickly and brutally slain, and any who wander toward the temple are commanded to submit or be killed on the spot.
And the two giant metal men, easily as large as the frost giants, begin to take their own places in the defensive formation. To the heroes who traveled to Dorn’s Deep, they appear much like the iron golems that Malavon made use of, though these are much larger.
Everyone should know now that Belhifet is trying to crack open a portal to the Abyss that’s located under the temple. If he gets that open... bad news.
Taking Zenithral just slightly aside she murmurs, "that pit fiend up there called your mother a 'broken aasimar.' Is that what you are? Like a tiefling but holy? Anyway he said she was broken 'long before' Belhifet was involved with her. I don't really know what any of it means, or if it's helpful at all, but I thought you'd like to know."
Zenithral's clearly in a good mood, the magic bow and impeccable aim boosting his morale.
"At any rate, thank you. And nice work taking out the tower! You look awful. I guess that's to be expected, though...But a pit fiend...This could be troublesome...but great goodness! Rastix!"
Zenithral turns and runs towards the gnome, face worried. "Halla's mind was mangled. Still hardy and vicious as ever, but...you can heal her, can't you?"
"Thanks. It was pretty terrible. Yes, I-" Zenithral rushes off and Alalla lets him, also eager, if not quite as much as he, for Halla to be restored.
