Mission: Heat Signature ?
An odd heat signature appears on the radar, it crashed somewhere outside of hillside, as far as you can tell no authorities have been called to this unknown crash landing, perhaps a foreign country's spy has crashed, or an unknown super.

Mike volunteers for this one. The possibility exists that this, whatever it is, comes from space and may be linked to the Elder things that whisper in his mind. He wants to make sure no one comes to harm from it.

The Heat signature places the crash landing somewhere 20 miles outside of Hillside ward, the area is mildly wooded, and could be difficult to search even if it is a crash the size of a private jet.

Well, we've got to go out there and search for it, anyway. I don't have flight or similar, nor do I have a vehicle. What do you have, Clay?

but i can also psudo fly as one of my powers. My character sheet should be public so if you slap on it you should see what i have and\or can do. if you want that is.

No, it's not letting me see the sheet. Not a big deal. If you've got a car, let's use it and go.
Mike plops down into the passenger seat of Clay's vehicle and pulls the door shut after him. The door slams hard, but Mike seems oblivious to the fact that he didn't need to close it that hard.

"So, into the woods, yeah? What do you think we'll find? A satellite? A Korean nuke? An alien spaceship?"

"Lets hope its just a metorite bit." He says as he climbs into the vehicle. Folding up his little notebook he starts the vehicle up taking to the streets eventually going to towards the forest. "Say wanna grab a bite before getting into the forest?"

As you drive out the current ward towards hillside, you see lots of moms and pops restaurants and diners, few fast food places exist out here, or really any chains, but a single burger joint that looks like it could be quick does catch your fancy, but also a taco stand, though the stand might take longer it is clearly higher quality food.

Mike coughs and gives Clay a small smile. "Yeah, sure, I could eat. I uh... I'm not too picky. Whatever you want," he says.

After a quick bite to eat the two of you can make an investigation check to attempt to narrow down the location of the heat signature.

Mike looks out over the woods as they drive, trying to spot any signs of the crash site. He only vaguely knows what to look for, based on crappy TV movies, but he's sure he can find something.

Coming near the end of a road you can see some snapped branches, and fallen trees, it is clear you are near the crash site, though not completely sure, the size of the crashed object, it is clearly larger than a single person, so a fallen hero or villain is unlikely.

Clay will keep driving for a bit possibly to a good big spot so he can turn the car about.

Clay will also pull out his little notebook and scribble notes of the cracked branches/trees.

Mike nods and gets out of the vehicle. He rolls his shoulders as he looks at the broken branches and other damaged foliage. "I think you're right. Anyways, I don't think your car is going to go any further in." He starts to head into the woods, trying to follow the direction of the damaged trees to find the point of impact.

"Agreed." Clay puts away his notebook and takes out a small micro film looking bottle. Shakes it and pops open the lid. Pouring a tablet into his hand then popping it into his mouth.

Clay uses the "taking my supplements power to slowly transform his body from solid flesh to jello-like liquid, then eventualy to the humanoid shape of a gaseous form.

so the spreadshee thing i used wouldnt let me have a power without a thing assoicated to it (i.e: my vitamin pills) :D
