Shore Leave: The Warehouse

The chase through the forest continues for a few more minutes. Cass manages to hit two of the pursuers with the phasers and eventually, your group manages to lose the others.
Endra slows down her sprint into a jog. "We're not safe yet. They have transporters. They must have scanners as well. They can still find us and send people after us again." She looks around again and adjusts her course slightly. "I don't know what happened there but that was definitely not part of the plan. There is a terraforming facility just two kilometers from here. If we make it there, planet security will be able to pick us up. I'm not looking forward to what they might do to me but you will be safe. And I won't be killed at least."

"We can talk but we can't stop", Endra replies. She slows down a bit more. Running for this long through difficult terrain has already tired out all of you but Endra does not seem willing to stop and rest for even a minute. "I was hired by Hector but according to what I was told, it was Admiral Tanner's decision. I was caught for smuggling weapons and awaiting trial and Hector said they would drop the charges if I assist them in this mission. Obviously I was just here to take the fall in case anything goes wrong but I decided to take my chances. Turns out that was a damn bad call on my part."

"Well, for all the bad things I can say about your spacefleet, random murder of their own people was not on my list until today. I thought they'd lock me up, not shoot me. And I've never met anyone except for the people from my group. I don't know if these are Tanner's people or not."

"I'm expecting to find a bunch of fleeters, hopefully with more than a handful of security guards."
Before she can continue speaking, four people materialize in the vicinity. You all recognize the man with the ponytail leading the group. They raise their weapons and fire again at your group without saying a single word.

All four of you find some adequate cover that you can move through. It won't hide you from the attackers for long but at least you avoided getting shot for the moment.
Endra sticks her head out from the cover and looks around. When she pulls it back, a phaser beam fires past exactly where her head was a moment earlier. She points in the direction you've been running towards and says to Cass: "Fire your phaser that way and try not to hit a tree!"

As Cass fires, a phaser shot goes past her head and she ducks back into cover. She doesn't see any immediate result from her shot.
A male voice calls out loudly from the source of the phaser fire: "You are surrounded. If you surrender now, we'll let the cadet live. You have five seconds"

A phaser shot goes past your cover again, missing Cass only by centimeters.
The man speaks up: "Just a friendly suggestion, if you're trying to shoot us, maybe try aiming at least in our general direction" There is some quiet speaking among the attackers and then he yells out to you one more time: "Your time is up."
You hear steps moving through the forest. The attackers are going around your cover to the side to which you don't have any protection.
Endra peeks out of cover for a moment and when she comes back in, says: "They have a grenade. We have to move"
