2.0 - Lure of the Lost

Heyop and Dagger start working their way along the side. It's a narrow ledge, however, and the two of them have a hard time keeping to the ledge. As they work their way across, Urik steps up to the edge of the bowl, steps back a few steps and the runs and... well.. he jumps several meters across the room with enough height to avoid the worst of the vapors. Urik lands, his eyes stinging a little from the dispersed gas he's quickly traveled through -- a small puff of dirt accompanying his landing.

Heyop and Dagger, for their part, are a little distracted by their friend pulling that off. This being the first time they've ever seen someone do that, they're a little taken aback and each scrambles briefly before falling into the bowl.

Csillag and Kaveri however, bringing up the rear are impressed with Urik -- but not distracted from the task at hand and are able to work their way around on the narrow ledge, coming safely to the other side. Csillag does nearly fall once, but manages to catch herself and get safely to the other side.

Heyop catches himself and quickly scrambles along the edge to the far side, whereas Dagger slips into the gassy area and begins to cough again. He immediately makes his best possible speed to the other side where Urik, Heyop and Csillag await him and manages to emerge from the noxious fumes coughing and hacking and ready for another break.

At the behest of his friends, Dagger takes a pause. Kaveri uses the pause to roam a little -- not far from the team -- but enough to keep an eye or an ear out for something while Dagger stops coughing and catches his breath. Kaveri returns from scouting with some news. "I wandered around a bit and found some very strange spider-webs. They cover much of a passage and a cavern and are very strong and hard to the touch. I suspect there's some other kind of creature that lives in here that likely won't be friendly. More importantly, I've spotted at least one probe droid. It seems to be paying close attention to the path we took to get here. I managed to lead a false trail towards the spider webs -- and with a tossed rock appear to have distracted the droid as it heads down there. We may be able to leave the caverns without being noticed, if we're careful."
