Itzel was born in the Empire of the Sun 21 years ago. She was believed to have been touched by Tilonalli at birth. The reason for this belief is that she was born with the almost unheard of trait of red hair.
She was taken and raised to be a priestess by the church. She was trained in the use of weapons and armour as well as her religious training.
There was not much training in the ways of the world except for languages.
Her robes match her hair...the red of a fiery sunset.
She is tall and willowy. She does not look particularly strong, but she moves like she knows how to take care of herself.
On her first extended trip outside the temple, her small party was attacked and overwhelmed by pirates. She thought it wise to pose as a soldier, so the pirates do not know of her magic.

Caprio Adonnis is a son of the Adonnis House, a comparatively minor house with the crest of a heart with a thorny rose wrapped around it.

He was brought over to Ixalan from his homeland at the age of 15 to aid in the spread of the influence of the church and queen. He undertook the rites to become a vampire at 18. From then, he ceased to physically age, and at the fateful age of 25, he was cast out of his settlement for sleeping with the wife of a fellow conquistador.

He manages to flee to the nearest Brazen Coalition port and paid almost all of his money he has on himself to get on a boat to escape to the continent of his homeland. But fate would not have it as the ship he was on was swiftly captured by the dreaded Chainfist.

He is pale with black hair and red eyes. When he is not wearing his helmet, his hair would fall about in matted drapes.

Changed it a bit.

Hurkor is a mighty barbarian from the empire of the sun, born to a smaller off shoot which is more peaceful between the villages where they are run locally by the spiritual leaders. Each spiritual leader is given a protector from the village for when they leave to the wild areas and the roads, to protect from monsters and bandits. Hurkor's brother, Linfar, is a spiritual leader, a druid, in fact, and Hurkor was his protector. One day, Linfar went into the woods on his own, Hurkor thought nothing of it, but has not seen him since. The dishonor of losing his ward has haunted him, and he searches for Linfar until he is found, or until Hurkor's death. While searching the coastline, Hurkor was captured.

He is a large man wielding a mace and a longsword, covered in tribal tattoos and respects his ancestors and his elders. While he strives for peace, Hurkor does enjoy the violence deep down. He will passionately protect any of his companions, so as to not fail again.

Tenoch is a young male Ixalan from the outskirts of the Empire of the Sun. He keeps the sides of his head shaved sporting a long black mohawk. He wears a simple indigo blue robe tied with a white sash. He has dark brown skin and brown eyes and is clean shaven. He wears plain rope sandals and carries a woven cloth satchel with all of his worldly possessions. He is armed with a simple spear and his fists, elbows, knees, and feet.

He grew up in a poor fishing village, but from a very young age, his destitute parents left him in the care of a monastery situated inland and on the top of a steep hill overlooking the countryside.

Tenoch grew up under the care and guidance of the monks, learning the way of the ki and the discipline of the fist.
He took on the lessons of humility, kindness, and order that the monastery elders espoused.

One fateful day, Tenoch was tasked with visiting the fishing village to collect alms for the monks, and to teach the young children of the village the beginnings of their ki training. The corrupt tax collector was in town with two of his thugs, shaking down the desperately poor villagers. Tenoch tried to mind his own business, but when the thugs put their attention on the daughter of a fisherman, he stood up to the bullies. In a quick succession of kicks and punches, Tenoch beat the thugs into submission and boldly told the tax collector to leave without his taxes.

The villagers hailed Tenoch as a hero, but quickly spirited the young monk out of the village on a fishing boat to protect him from the reprisals of the Empire. As fortune would have it, the fishing ship was captured that very night by the pirate ship Embargo, where he has been kept as a slave ever since.

Darastrix the Red was born and raise to the sea of pirates. She spent her youth under the sway of a dread pirate, a ruthless cutthroat who taught her how to survive in a world of sharks and savages. She indulged in larceny on the high seas and sent more than one deserving soul to a briny grave. Fear and bloodshed are no strangers to her, and she has garnered a somewhat unsavory reputation in many a port town.

A cheerful thing that loves a good bar fight and whatever she can get away with. No matter where she goes, people walk away afraid of her due to her reputation. When she in a civilized settlement, she can get away with minor criminal offenses, such as refusing to pay for food at a tavern or breaking down doors at a local shop, since most people will not report her activity to the authorities. She can be a horror to some favored ports.

She is also someone that stand strong among cohorts and never to back down when challenged. Someone that has your back all the time. Also known for her ability to throw slamming force any time that she wishes to get her way.

She is one thang that is due for a change.

Jergen was born into a minor noble family. Being the 3rd born son, he quickly realized that he was never going to obtain a title or even lands from his family. Thus he stepped away and became a holy warrior of the church.

As he grew older and became well versed in the tenants of the church, as well as the combat arts, he quickly saw how weak and pitiful some of the noble families had become.

When he took his final vows and became a full-fledged Paladin for The Dusk Empire, he traveled home to visit his family. Upon his arrival, Jergen discovered that his family had tried to overtake a rival noble house and add the lands to their own.

Disgusted and ashamed with the failure, and in order to save them from any future disappointments, Jergen slaughtered them on the spot. Once his family name was cleansed of the dishonor, he set out to rebuild his family name and start his own house.

Sadly, Jergen's quest didn't start off like he wanted. As he was traveling one evening, Jergen was ambushed and captured. He soon found himself sold as a mere slave and placed in the hold of the Embargo.

Te'e'no stands tall and sure with lean muscles and a wide smile. His black hair is tied into a topknot, and there is a tattoo of the sun on the brown skin of his bicep.
He was raised in a remote temple where he assited the monks with the raising and training of dinosaurs. He grew up hearing stories of the Immortal Sun and the wonders it beheld and always dreamed of being the one to find it. When the invaders came, he began to learn the ways of the sword and the shield and ventured forth towards the captial when he came of age to serve, as he was meant to. But when trouble arose, he answered instinctively.
Along his journey he stopped at a small village to sleep. That night, agents of the bat god raised great havoc amongst that villages dinosaurs and they stampeded. Jumping into action, Te'e'no managed to divert the stampede before they trampled the town and everyone in it. A miraculous feat that only cost Te'e'no 7 broken bones. He had just recovered when pirates attacked the village. Still weak from his injuries, he was captured.

Lyra was born to a prominent noble family, though she had many brothers and sisters. Her family gifted her to the church when she was young to increase their standing with the Queen. Raised by the church, she was noticed by the Queen's agents, who decided to take on her training.
She spent the next few decades training in the arts of subterfuge and hand-to-hand combat, also learning that, unlike some from the homeland, she had no adverse reaction to sunlight. This made her a perfect candidate to join the Legion of Dusk in Ixalan as an instrument of the Queen's will. When her training had reached its conclusion, Lyra was stripped of her family name and given the new title of Dawnstalker, one who seeks the Immortal Sun. Before she could be fully released from the control of the Queen's agents, they decided to test her competence.
Sending Lyra to Ixalan, they tasked her with finding and reporting on the location of the Embargo, which had been a thorn in the Legion's side for some time. She was able to find the ship, but it found her as well. She was captured by the crew, and is unsure of how long she has been kept in the hold.

Aglaophonos grew up on the Sun Coast, raised into a nomadic family that flew the length of the coast looking for ships to torment, most frequently the traders coming and going from Pachatupa. It is a dangerous life to be a siren, and Agla was orphaned at 14 after a ship with more than the usual complement of archers took issue with being led into the deep kelp. Agla continued with the itinerant lifestyle, but became wary of leading ships astray often instead acting as a guide and entertainer in return for food and gold, and an opportunity to gamble with the sailors. She spent time with traders and pirates alike, distinguishing little between them. She made a grave mistake however when approaching the Embargo, which received her not as a guide or entertainer, but as a slave.

Standing tall like all Merfolk a little over seven feet, Mishana is typical of her people. She is blue-scaled with red fins flowing from all over her body and dressed in a few attributes of leather and jade that allow for free movement, and carrying a satchel with only the most basic needs. She is armed with scimitar and a wooden shield.

Mishana is one of the River Heralds, one of the ancient protectors of the world and guardians of the Golden City. While their mighty race has dwindled, they keep to their sacred duty for one generation after the next. She is just one of the latest of a proud race, a shaper's apprentice, born with the gift of magic and thus destined to one day lead. But fate took an ill turn when the outsiders came and upset the balance of power. During one raid, Mishana had to sacrifice herself so her people might escape. But death did not come. Instead, these invaders speak of slavery..
